From start to finish, Simple Provisions was perfection. I was not able to book the caterer many had recommended, so took a chance on Simple Provisions. There is not one more thing they could have done to have made everything fabulous. They took complete charge; I was able to relax and leave everything to them. Their food was delicious and their professionalism was superb. They will be the first call at my next party.
We had a wonderful experience with this catering company! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and truly phenomenal. Our family was delighted how wonderful everything tasted. The staff was equally impressive. They were delightful, friendly, professional, and made the entire event run smoothly. Their attention to detail and warm service made a great experience even better. I highly recommend them for any event and would happily use them again in the future!
Tess did drop off catering for my son’s engagement party. Everything was exceptional and Tess was super easy to communicate with. We did all hors d’oeuvres for a late night party and everyone complimented the presentation as well as how delicious everything tasted. We cannot recommend Tess more highly!!
Simple provisions were absolutely amazing. We hired them to cook for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day; including breakfast, lunch and our wedding dinner. Our experience with them started with Tess. Talking with her to plan our menu and timeline was easy and enjoyable. She made time to chat with us and really understand what we wanted. Her communication was clear and helpful throughout the planning process. She listened to what we wanted and helped us curate the perfect menu to fit our personal dietary needs and preferences but also be enjoyable to our entire crowd. Blake and Kelly were the chefs who did the cooking in our home. They were professional and fun. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The appetizers were delicious and beautifully prepared and plated. Entrees cooked to perfection and dessert was the perfect way to end a perfect meal. We had them leave us food to heat up ourselves for the wedding day breakfast and lunch. The food was delicious and the instructions were clear for the prep. Our wedding dinner was more perfect than we could have imagined. Everyone enjoyed every bite, and the best part was they set aside appetizers for the bride and groom so we didn’t miss a thing. They also decorated a beautiful tables for us and helped manage our guest, including some young kids. The best part, all of our food was gluten free, and our guest didn’t even know the difference!! Aside for all this, Blake and Kelly were a joy to be around. I kept finding myself chatting with them and enjoying their company. I would recommend simple provisions to anyone in the area who needs a private chef, you will not be disappointed.
Hired Tess and her team for a drop-off dinner and in-home private chef experience for 11 adults and 11 kids. The food was wonderful and in abundance! The entire experience was professional and enjoyable. Can't recommend enough!

We had a family trip of 14 to Charleston this Easter and Simple Provisions made all our dinner and breakfast worries go away! They catered in an amazing dinner filled with savory, yummy dishes including a pork tenderloin, Mac and cheese, chicken parm pasta, and many more. As well, the team suggested catering in brunch for Easter Sunday so we did not have to worry about cooking Easter morning while on vacation. The brunch was absolutely AMAZING!!! From the kids to the adults, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. I highly suggest Simple Provisions!! We plan to come back to IOP and use them again!
We hired Blake & Tess for a large dinner party at our home. They were expedient in proposing selections and flexible with our menu preferences. I was so relieved they could fit us in on short notice and the food was amazing! Our guests loved everything. I will definitely reach out to them again in the future.
