Simply Served Catering

I am the marketing coordinator at M/I homes, Indianapolis. On behalf of our entire Division, Simply Served did an absolutely fantastic job for our Pelotonia Benefit Home Event and Division Awards. The food was excellent and we ended up with plenty of leftovers, which is always appreciated at an event after this size. A special thank you to Ashli Hillis, Who was phenomenal to work with throughout the planning process. She was responsive, organized, and made coordinating the event incredibly easy from start to finish. The serving staff, including Odette, Alicia, and Xavier, Were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the event. We also want to recognize Jay, the on-site manager, who was outstanding. He arrived early and had everything set up and ready to go ahead of schedule. He helped tremendously with his team by even tearing down items that weren’t part of Simply Served’s responsibilities. The entire team exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to work with simply served again for future events. Highly recommend!

We hosted an event at our office building and invited some friends from the dental community. Everything was fantastic! The service was friendly and efficient, the food got rave reviews, and the event was very well organized. We worked with Taylor on-site and she was awesome! Very happy with all!

Cannot say enough good things about Ashlli Hillis and the team at Simply Served! From day one, Ashlli was one of the most professional, kind, and genuinely helpful people I have EVER worked with. She consistently went above and beyond for us, answering every question (and there were many) promptly and coming up with creative solutions, always with a smile. She was truly a rockstar, and our wedding would not have been the same without her. Simply Served is SO lucky to have her (someone please give that woman a raise!!). On the day of, the entire team delivered beyond our expectations. Our guests raved that it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. A special shoutout to the sirloin, which was cooked perfectly (no easy feat for 150 guests!), and the Brussel sprouts, which were a massive hit! On top of that, the catering and bar staff were exceptionally attentive, kind, and hard-working, the entire night, even while working through 90-degree heat. You truly cannot go wrong booking Simply Served. Ashlli and her team exceeded our expectations on every single front. Thank you all so much for making our day so special!!

We recently used Simply Served Catering for a wedding reception. It was a delight to work with Ashlli. Her team was friendly and professional. The food was DELICIOUS! Our appetizer menu: pretzel bites with cheese sauce, watermelon bites with feta, and mini bbq tacos. This pared beautifully with the open bar. For dinner we selected the spinach strawberry salad with a delicious dressing, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and for the entree selections a bbq beef and carved beef with aujus and a horseradish sauce. Absolute chef’s kiss for all the food, the impeccable service and planning process with Ashlli! Book them today!!!

Simply Served was awesome! Ashlli was great to work with. She made the entire process seamless and organized, ensuring everything was in place before the event. Their on-site staff was amazing, and everything was executed perfectly. I especially wanted to give a shout-out to Anjolie. She was fantastic at what she does, and I really appreciated her communication and attentiveness throughout the day. She made it incredibly easy for me to navigate the event, and her professionalism was top-notch.

Simply Served did a wonderful job catering my wedding at Laurel Hall! Ashlli was a kind and communicative point of contact through the planning process, and the entire team was professional and helpful through the actual event. They also did their best to make sure the groom and I were fed. Our vegan and gluten-free guests were taken care of as well. The pretzel bites and the corn casserole were the most complimented by our guests. Would highly recommend booking with Simply Served!

Simply Served catered our wedding and it was some of the best wedding food we’ve ever had! We got so many compliments on the food! Ashlli was so nice and great to work with. We had the pleasure to work with simply served for our wedding on 8/21/26. They were phenomenal! My guest loved the fiesta bar , cake , and late night food truck.
