Skyline helped rebuild our front porch after some unfortunate circumstances. The turnover from consultation and getting it built was so quick! Their team was very nice and worked so hard to get it done in just one day. After the job was done, we noticed one spot we wanted to fix and they came back out within a day to fix it at no cost. Would recommend! Before & after photos below.

I asked Chris to provide me with an estimate very last minute so my daughters house deal wouldn’t fall through, but we wanted to make sure the repairs needed weren’t going to be more than they could afford. He was amazing to deal with and provided a very thorough estimate they were able to provide to the seller in order for them to consider lowering the sale price or give them concessions. I’m hopeful the deal with go through for them and we will be able to get Chris and his team out there to do the work! I will also be calling Chris to take a look at my own chimney in the near future!

Great insight and very professional

I have an old brick chimney. The old damper works but is jammed by a fallen piece of debris. Really just wanted my chimney cleaned out and the piece of debris removed. Was quoted $2,800 to do everything but clean the chimney. When I declined these expensive upgrades (confirmed by second opinion are not needed on my chimney, and which were quoted without even getting on top of my roof to inspect the flute, or looking at my damper) I was told a routine cleaning would not be an option as it would jeopardize the inspector's license, and my chimney does not need to be cleaned since it's "never been used." From my understanding, that is simply not true, and so I'm left wondering why I'm being aggressively sold an expensive quote instead of providing the services I requested. Will not be moving forward with this company. Edit: be incredibly wary of the defensive, dishonest replies. My chimney is not broken. I have since gotten a second opinion that confirmed my suspicions about a dishonest quote. Not to mention, inspector did not even look up into my chimney. Also made claims about how my furnace exhaust is directed though my chimney, which is not even true, and i had to correct him on that after his "thorough inspection." Stood in my living room for about 5 mins, looked at my chimney from the sidewalk, $2800 quote to do everything but what actually needs to be done on this. Got a licensed professional coming over to do the job for $300 now.

They came and replaced all my brick on my front porch. They did an excellent job and cleaned everything up. I was very happy with the owner and his help. Will recommend them to any and all of my friends who need brick work done. Thank you so much.

I've owned 5 homes in my life, and hired many contractors for work of all types at my home. The recent work managed and completed by Skyline was one of the most pleasant and simple projects of them all. I had a few estimates done for the work on my chimney and fireplace and I was not satisfied with the communication, or the thoroughness and details surrounding the quotes from any of them. Chris estimated the work, explained it all very well, and his quotes were complete, detailed, and gave me the confidence that the work would be complete as well, with no add-ons. The chimney work was completed in a day by his team and they were friendly, cleaned up, and unobtrusive. Chris completed the interior work on our fireplace himself and really was quite efficient. We are thoroughly enjoying our now working gas fireplace, in beautiful condition, and our repaired chimney with new caps and restored brick and concrete, our new porch step, and our peace of mind for the longer term. I highly recommend Skyline Chimney and Masonry and I don't give high recommendations lightly.

This company has a difficult time remembering your original quoted price and will have you waiting only for them to show up late or not at all. I was quoted $275 via text and then when he called my wife answered and he told her $375. Not a good look already. My original inspection/sweep was scheduled for 10:30am Sep 15th however Chris showed up at 11:20am and told me he wouldn’t be able to do the sweep due to having only 1 brush available across the entire company. I work in the trades too so I can understand. We were rescheduled for our chimney cleaning today at 10:30am. I texted at 10:31am asking if they were still coming and Chris mentioned it was this Friday. I sent over a screenshot of the original confirmation he sent me which specifically said today at 10:30am. Best not to spend your energy or more importantly your time with a company when the basics are overlooked.
