Review from Google · view on GoogleCame in from out of town and this place was awesome. Coach Nate was super responsive and really welcoming. I forgot my gi and they found one for me to wear, which saved me. Class was great and I walked out with a new move. The students were all really good but also super friendly and easy to roll with. They adjusted to my level which I appreciated. As a white belt you never know what youre walking into at a new gym. This was about as good as it gets. If im back in town ill be back for sure!

Review from Google · view on GoogleSloth jiu jitsu was amazingly welcoming and friendly. I’ve been training 13 years and learned several new technique details and loved the teaching style. The success of the teaching style shows in their students: lots of new students who are clearly learning quickly! Will definitely train here again (and hopefully be in less of a rush to catch a plane!)

Review from Google · view on GoogleI was visiting for work and dropped in at Sloth BJJ last Monday and Tuesday. What a great community! They went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and everyone I drilled and rolled with was really respectful with the “new guy”. Special shoutout to Chad and Bruce for being great mat partners and to Russel for spending some extra time with me afterwards so help me on some technique! I would highly recommend Sloth BJJ to anyone!

Review from Google · view on GoogleSloth is an excellent place to start or continue training Jiu-Jitsu. The 5 years (so far) that I've been training here have been fantastic. Coach Nate is friendly and quite knowledgeable. He also has done a great job creating a welcoming atmosphere at this gym. Training partners are friendly and really helpful, and the rest of the coaches have varied teaching teaching styles that keep training fresh and engaging.

Review from Google · view on GoogleBoth my sons and I have been training at Sloth for a year, which is hard to believe! I had zero martial arts experience when I started. As intimidating as it was in the beginning, everyone made me feel welcome and took their time both during, after class. I can't see myself training consistently anywhere else in DFW. Sloth BJJ is for everyone young and old male or female, even if it's just for a free trial class. Welcoming environment, great workout, good people and lots of rolls. Highly recommended!

Review from Google · view on GoogleIf you’re looking for a gym in the HEB area, you have to check out Sloth BJJ! Professor Nathan runs a super encouraging, family-friendly spot where everyone is welcome from the kids to the men and women. It’s such a great atmosphere to learn in, and I highly recommend it whether you're just starting out or have been training for years. Added bonus, I love the new location!!
