We vigorously researched breeders as I care a lot about breeder dogs, we came across Marc and immediately fell in love. I’ve raised and had large dogs and Rotties all my life. I’ve dealt with many breeders and I never gave a review, until now! Reason being, they weren’t worth mentioning. But this guy, is exceptional. He’s a man of his word, has some of the best dogs I’ve ever encountered. He says what he’s going to do, and does what he says. We gave him a surprise visit at 5:30 am on the pick day. He did say come early lol. We got to see his operation about seven hours before he had any chance to get ready for showings.
I was impressed with his care for the animals, we got to see his feeding, caring for, and training. In regard to feeding, he feeds them clean human grade meals you can serve your family. Top notch real meat, probiotics, raw eggs, blueberries. Nothing processed, top notch foods you can
Straight shooter, exceptional breeder, extreme quality, campaign dogs.very knowledgeable, caring, everything you could ever ask for. If you want the best in protection rotties. This is the company to get em. Thank you Mark. I couldn’t ask for more.

John and Jr it was more than a pleasure meeting you guys. The fact that you owned Rottweilers and came out from Colorado to see us and our program, and then to give the review is absolutely jaw dropping. The looks of both dogs are amazing and I am more than happy to have both of you guys here with trainings at anytime!!!

Marc is an exceptional person who raises exceptional Rottweilers. We are so impressed with our girl, her manners, and gentleness. She is the most well adjusted dog I've ever met. We visited Marc twice and both times the property was well kept. He took his time explaining everything to us and made every effort to answer our questions. Our dog is a life-changing addition to our family. I can sleep at night knowing my home is safe and secure with her. My children are so in love with her and she is the epitome of a gentle giant. A lot of time and care went into her and it's thanks to Marc that she's home with us now. If you're looking for someone who knows it all about Rottweilers he's your guy. Thank you for everything!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Team Snubnose Rottweilers. I am now the proud owner of not one but two of your exceptional German Rottweiler puppies. I know I was a major pain in the backside but I wanted and yes expected perfection and you delivered.
Excepting a human into their lives has got to be a real burden for a puppy considering what a puppy requires but you make it easier for the puppies by starting their lives with love, attention, patience, structure and the promise of a perfect home and family. Marc and his team provide puppy owner hopefuls with outstanding breeding practices, endless knowledge, unmatched honesty and outstanding, intelligent, friendly, inquisitive great looks pups. I am truly fortunate to have adopted one of your puppies but couldn’t help myself and had to have another, 3 weeks apart. My adventures with Jake and Legend have just begun and I cannot wait to journey forward.
You can expect phone calls(imagine that) and maybe a visit or 2 ( got to get my puppy fix) in the times ahead. I have been a proud owner of 12 Rottweilers over the past 35 years and not one day of those 35 years was I without a Rottweiler in it. You have added to my joy and love of this incredible, majestic breed we call the Rottweiler.
God bless you Team Snubnose Rottweilers and a a Groovy day.

Wow Liz, thank you. It's very hard to follow your reply. As a breeder it's not always easy to give the honest answers. I pride myself in answering all questions honestly and truthfully. Honesty builds trust. I asked you to trust me and the process. I am happy and grateful that you did. When a longtime Rottweiler owner such as yourself gives a review it means so much, and then you didn't just get one puppy, but two means even more. We were happy you trusted us and that you came out on two different occasions to see our program in depth. Liz it was truly a honor and a pleasure working with you on Jake and Legend.

Ashley Johnson3 reviewsiTotal number of Google reviews Ashley has written across all businesses on Google Maps, not just this one.
Our story with Snubnose Rottweilers actually started about two years before we ever got a dog from them. After my daughter lost her dog, we were at a dog park with our Rottweiler mix, Ruby, and saw a man with an absolutely beautiful Rottweiler. We asked where he got him, and he said, “Snubnose Rottweilers.” We looked them up and were impressed, but the timing just wasn’t right.
About a year later, my daughter and I were on a mother-daughter trip when, just before Price, Utah, we happened to see a huge Snubnose Rottweilers sign on a fence. We looked at each other and said, “Should we stop?” Of course we did — and I am so grateful we did.
We called and what started as a few questions turned into a 20-minute conversation. He immediately made us feel comfortable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and took the time to make sure we truly understood what he was explaining. It was obvious this wasn’t someone simply selling dogs — he genuinely loves the breed and what he does. Before we even pulled into his driveway, I knew this was where I wanted my daughter’s dog to come from.
My daughter ended up getting a female Rottweiler, and she has been absolutely perfect for her. She is healthy, intelligent, loyal, loving, protective, and has an incredible temperament.
My daughter has experienced a lot of trauma in her life, and the bond she has developed with this dog means more to me as her mother than I can put into words. She has gained a companion, confidence, comfort, and a sense of security. She truly has the best guardian I could have ever hoped for.
We also gained so much knowledge about Rottweilers, training, protection work, and bite work along the way.
Sometimes I still can’t believe that simply driving past that sign and deciding to stop led us here. I am genuinely grateful for everything Snubnose Rottweilers has given my daughter — not only an incredible dog, but a guardian, companion, and best friend. ❤️

RoyLynn Underwood2 reviewsiTotal number of Google reviews RoyLynn has written across all businesses on Google Maps, not just this one.
While our puppy is adorable and definately a part of our family, the expereince and customer service from SnubNose Rotts is disappointming to say the least. Our puppy was transported via a private carrier arranged by SNR. We were promised by Marc that we would have regular updates once the puppy left his place yet we did not receive a single update until the next day when I reached out to ask about his meal time. This puppy had not been feed for almost 24 hours by the time he reached us (per the transporter she didn't want him to get sick in her car so she hadn't feed him breakfast, despite an 8 hour travel day). The transporter was hours late, had allowed our puppy to be walked despite it being a no-contact type of transport and got seriously lost. Upon arrival our puppy was noted to have a wonky toe, almost like it was out of joint. Though he expresses no signs of pain or discomfort. At the inital vet visit our puppy was found to have cryptorchid. When we mentioned this to Marc, he said initally his vet identified a cryptorchid status too but then reversed his decision. He is now 6 months old and 4 separate vets have stated the puppy is cryptorchid. I would say that genetically, my puppy and possible many other SnubNose Rottweiler's puppies are dysfunctional. We are not interested in breeding dogs, but if I were, I'd likely choose a different breeder. The parents of our puppy are Filou vom Schwarzen Skorpion and Korsa Berrimor Hause.
I was contacted by Marc yesterday shorlty after posting my review (3 times via him calling plus 3 excessively long texts) , asking that we revise our review and repeatedly stating that "this isn't fair" (for him). He specifically wanted us to remove the statement "I would say that genetically, my puppy and possible many other SnubNose Rottweiler's puppies are dysfunctional." Marc was notified that our puppy had cryptorchid on Friday May 1st following his initial vet appointment. SInce this time Nacho has had 4 different vets examine his cryptorchid status (the last at 6 months of age), all concluding he is indeed cryptorchid. All 4 vets also recommend removing both the breeding male and female from a breeeding program as well as not breeding the puppy. Cryptorchid is an autosomal recesssive genetic condition in with both parents must carry the genetic defect in order for them to have an offspring with that phenotype. Thus, in order for Nacho to have cryptorchid both Filou vom Schwarzen Skorpion (sire) and Korsa Berrimor Hause (dame) must be carriers of this genetic defect/mutation. I stand by my original recommendation that I would NOT recommend Snub Nose Rottweilers but now also would add...nor Marc Leboy, for purchasing either a family pet or a breeding stock canine.
The amount of unwanted calls and texts receive by Marc Leboy yesterday created an environment that felt hostile and manipulative to me. Neither myself nor my husband initiated any calls or texts, yet Marc texted 8 times and called 3. He initiaited the conversation by asking us to remove the review, then moved into asking us to remove just the particular sentence, and finally implored us with "this is how I eat." He fully admitted to agreeing to a partial refund and then decided he would not honor that. I personally did not want to remove this review but my husband is a much kinder soul than I and was willing to remove the particular sentences Marc disliked if he was willing to provide a partial refund. Unfortunately, based on my expereince with Marc, there is a lack of integrity and fidelity. Not only with the partial refund, but continueing to use a sire who carries a knonwn genetic mutaion, cyyptorchid.

Thank you for your review Roy Lynn. We are happy that you have expressed your concerns. Although your facts are not what transpired, we would like to address your review:
1) Nacho left our care with a clean bill of health from a licensed professional vet. You did receive a copy.
2) The transporter used, was a licensed transporter. The transporter did show us videos of Nacho eating. In your review you state that Nacho was not fed breakfast, but this definitely does not correlate with him not eating for 24 hours. We did stay in contact from the time Nacho left our care to the time Nacho was en route to you from Boise, at that time you were in contact with the transporter.
3) Once it was brought to our attention, at your vets initial visit that Nacho did not clear his health exam, a replacement puppy(72 hrs after his arrival) was offered. We offered to pay for another vets opinion. He did go to another vet, but was checked by the vet tech, not the veterinarian. At that point we offered a replacement puppy again. We offered not to rehome Nacho, as you were extremely happy with him, and a replacement puppy was offered without rehoming Nacho. That was declined. You then brought up a $500.00 reimbursement instead of a replacement puppy. We agreed to that once Nacho was properly diagnosed. Months later a reimbursement for surgery cost was brought up.
4) At all times you were extremely happy with Nacho and even state this in your review. We received an e mail today asking for a $500 refund and for us to pay for the surgery(neuter) as well. We explained that it's either one or the other, and the fact that you are OK with the condition, but want a $500 reimbursement plus paying for surgery prompted us to stick to our contract and a replacement puppy. At that point you became angry and questioned a professional veterinarians findings.
5) As a responsible breeder, we have retired Korsa. Filou vom Schwarzen Skorpion has sired multiple other litters, without any defects. We don't breed dogs with defects and if a defect is documented, we do retire the dog. In this case Korsa has been removed from our breeding program, retired, and spayed. We do not have any of her offspring, as we take these type of issues seriously. At all times we acted on a professionals recommendation. And yes, as explained it is possible for a descended testicle to re ascend, and go back up.
Updated 8/30/26 after our follow up phone call
We are deeply sorry about your experience. We did everything possible to mitigate and work with you. Your comments about our dogs and breeding practices is far from correct. Our phone call after this review reiterated our belief that we were being black mailed into paying a reimbursement and a surgery cost, to the point of saying that you guy's would be willing to take down the review or amend the review if I paid for the surgery. You also requested that we pay you guys directly instead of paying the vet. We will decline your request and stick to the parameters of our contract and reimbursement per our responsibility.
Update to RoyLynns last post on 8/31.
1) I had a phone call with our veterinarian from Carbon Animal Health on 9/1, and we discussed everything further. 2-4 are from our discussion.
2) As stated, it is not uncommon for a testicle to drop and ascend back up to the abdomen.
3) Cryptorchidism yes, can be hereditary, but is not so in all cases.
4) In the case of Filou. He has sired 36 other males without the issue. And because genetics can not be ruled out it is recommended that we disclose this issue on any breedings moving forward. It's his belief that Filou is not genetically "dysfunctional", but since there are no tests to rule this out, that I breed him with full disclosure.
5) We are sorry for your experience, but we will continue to breed with integrity, and we will not cave into lies, black mail, or bad reviews.

We've worked with other Rottweiler breeders in the past, so we had high expectations going into this process. Marc from SnubNose Rottweilers not only met those expectations, he exceeded them in every way.
Since I frequently leave home due to my military duties, it was very important for us to find another Rottweiler that could help protect our family while also being a loving, stable companion. That made choosing the right breeder even more important, and Marc gave us complete confidence from day one.
From the very beginning, Marc stayed in constant communication, keeping us updated every step of the way with the litter. Communication builds trust, and he absolutely earned ours. Anytime we had a question, he was always available for a phone call and responded immediately, which gave us so much confidence throughout the entire process.
His Rottweilers are absolutely stunning. What really stood out to us is that they truly fall in line with ADRK standards. These are not backyard bred dogs by any means. They have excellent structure, beautiful heads, outstanding conformation, and wonderful temperaments. It's obvious that Marc takes tremendous pride in preserving and producing quality Rottweilers that represent the breed the way it should be.
Above all, we highly recommend Marc and SnubNose Rottweilers to anyone looking to add a beautiful, well tempered Rottweiler to their family. If you're looking for a breeder who genuinely cares about his dogs, maintains exceptional communication, and produces top quality Rottweilers, SnubNose Rottweilers is the place to go. We couldn't be happier with our experience, and we're grateful to have found a breeder we can trust.
