Sweet museum in a private type home. They change their exhibits often always something new to see.
One of my favourite museums in Manhattan. I met my childhood author R.L Stine there. Super grateful to have them in the city.
A wonderful niche museum. The temp exhibitions were great and the bartender was so awesome and many of the staff are illustrators and designers themselves so they are so informed and passionate about the work! I'll be back :) oh! And there is an outside patio that is lovely in the late summer
this was a while ago but this is an interesting museum. i should have known that they would have comics! i'm not a fan of comic characters. but it was interesting to see everything and how they used to look. they have them in the main floor and they downstairs. then the second floor have women artists comic strips…
It’s a joy to see up close the creativity and technical proficiency of the artists, especially in a time when AI-generated work is becoming commonplace. I just wish the different levels were more ADA-accessible. Reserve with Culture Pass to obtain free admission.
A small unique museum, I enjoyed the variety of illustration styles, you can see all of it in 45 minutes. I came in at 11 as it opened and I had some space and quiet to enjoy the art works. Easy to get to with public transportation, decent ticket price. I wasn't up for a drink in the morning but there's a nice bar at the top floor.

Interesting for ilustrators. Nice showrooms and very good works
Great experience at our first figure drawing
We loved our visit to this place. Excellent selections of different illustrations to check out. Didn’t expect to find actual full bar upstairs. Got a patio to hangout with your drinks as well. Very cozy museum hidden in a very busy neighborhood. Free entry is available through the Culture Pass with library.
