I had an ear curation done with Monique and she was amazing! She helped me pick out new jewelry that looked great together. I do appreciate her being very helpful in terms of aftercare and want the best for you when it comes with ear health. I loved how detailed oriented she was and clean she was during my appointment. She is a true professional and I look forward into coming back. I highly recommend!
I’ve gotten a few piercings here now and Mo always does a great job. She takes time to explain everything and the space is very warm and inviting. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend her studio for piercings

Monique was so awesome! A month ago, while traveling from out of town, I went to Solana Studios: Permanent Jewelry & Piercings due to a piece of jewelry that was causing harm to one of my piercings that I have had for three decades. She took time to examine my piercing for any serious damage and helped me find a new beautiful earring that would help keep my piercing stay open but would be comfortable enough to wear while healing. I am still rocking the beautiful piece of jewelry that I bought there and I have healed up well. So happy and sincerely grateful to have fallen into such caring, kind, capable and safe hands! Poor communication and disappointing customer service I purchased an anklet from Solana Studios at the Sculpture Park art show on August 9th for around $80. Within a few days, it started sliding below my ankle bone and becoming painfully tight. When I purchased it, they made it seem like I could come back to Solana Studios for an adjustment if needed, and it was never explained that I would be charged $25 for it. I booked an appointment at their studio, which was then canceled because they said they would be at an event downtown and told me I could come there instead. I drove over, spent about 45 minutes looking for their booth, and couldn’t find them. I called the studio with no answer. When I came in for my rescheduled appointment the next day, I was told they had decided not to attend the event. A simple text would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. When my anklet was finally adjusted, I was charged $25, reduced to $21.39 after I questioned it. I was told the gold had stretched, even though the anklet had been very loose to begin with. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience and I feel the communication and customer service were extremely poor. I would not recommend this business to my friends or family.

We do, however, want to clarify a few details, as there are some important differences between what occurred and what is represented in this review. When you purchased your anklet from us on August 9th, you selected a piece from our cut-piece inventory, which is why you received the $160 anklet for $80. At the time of fitting, you confirmed that you were happy with the fit and that it felt great before leaving. Several weeks later, you decided you wanted the fit changed and booked an appointment for an adjustment. A few days before that appointment, we were notified that a market date had been changed on us & caused a scheduling conflict with your appointment. Unfortunately this was outside of our control as we were committed to this market prior to your appointment. We contacted you, apologized for the inconvenience, and offered to either reschedule your studio appointment or have the adjustment done at an outdoor market. You chose the market option. Unfortunately, that market was then canceled at the last minute by the market/city organizers. This is where we absolutely take responsibility: in the chaos surrounding the last-minute cancellation, we failed to personally notify you that the market had been canceled. We should have communicated that to you, and we sincerely apologize for that. You then rebooked your appointment and came into the studio for the adjustment a few days later. Our policy is that adjustments to the fit are subject to a fee when a customer has approved the original fit and later decides they would like it changed. This policy was disclosed during the booking process, and there was no request made in advance to have the fee waived. The $25 adjustment fee was ultimately reduced to $21.39 as a courtesy. We understand that you may have been disappointed with the experience, and we are sorry for the communication lapse surrounding the canceled market. However, we also want to be transparent with future customers reading this review: the adjustment was not a charge for fixing a defective piece, nor was your original appointment simply canceled because we “decided not to attend” an event. There were two separate scheduling changes, both outside of our control, followed by one communication mistake on our part. After seeing your review, we personally reached out to you by both phone and text because we wanted the opportunity to speak with you directly, understand your concerns, and see if there was anything further we could do to make things right. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response. We are a family run small business, doing our best. This business supports two local families & we genuinely value our customers and take feedback seriously. Thank you for giving us your feed back here, we wish you the best.
