Song Institute of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology

First appointment today. Staff was great. Dr. Wong was excellent. Everything was well organized. Very generous with their time, not rushed. Thoughtful, and explained things well. Overall excellent experience.

Song Institute has removed 100% of the stress with ordering specialty medicine. They have great customer service with a team culture of helping patients as much as they can: cold call schedule flexibility with injections and checking qty of my medication to help me plan insurance costs, handling auto order of monthly injections, etc. I have never felt like I was asking for a lot or a bother to the team.

I have seen Dr. Wong a handful of times over the last few years. And overall everything is good. However I am giving two stars for to reasons. When I call and leave voicemails, no one ever calls me back. Its happened like 3 - 4 times now. Or if they say, they will call you back ... 9 times out of 10 they won't. I always have to call again to follow up. Also because when i need an emergency appointment there are no available appointments and are completely booked up for months. Even if I just had a severe allergy attack, no emergency appointments available. I can't control my allergy attacks and they happen randomly so sometimes I need an emergency appointment. Even virtual calls are booked up for months so as long as you don't have an emergency you should be good at this office. For me, with random severe allergy attacks (Hives, my whole face swells like a balloon, congestion, throat and lips itch so badly), I will probably have to find a new allergist that can accomdate my random and severe allergy attacks. Because if not, I will be spending thousands of dollars every time I end up in the emergency room.

The doctors and staff are great. We didn't feel rushed , great listening skills from the doctor and the staff is very nice and professional. My child and husband both come here!

I originally went to Dr. Wong for my son's allergies. I was so impressed by his care and knowledge that I asked him if he took new asthma patients (I saw some asthma charts on the wall). He did and I made an appointment for the following week to see him. I've now seen him almost a dozen times and he's my go-to doctor when I am sick. I have had many doctors over the years and I quickly realized that Dr. Wong is not only one of my favorites but more importantly, one of the best I’ve had. He’s punctual, he’s caring, understanding, young (so he’s up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies) and most of all, he’s very intelligent. Highly recommend him.

Love this office!! Dr Wong, Jillian, the entire team. So helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Wong is awesome! Explains everything in detail, answers all questions. Jillian performed my allergy test and outside of being awesome, she knows football. :) Feel great having a path forward. Very thankful for the Song Institute.

Dr. Andrew Wong and all staff members are amazing; all are friendly, pleasant, and easy to speak with. They always go out of their way to help with every need. I have been going to Dr. Wong's office for about two years; recently I relocated to San Diego and I could not find such a wonderful team here.

Amazing doctor and nurse. Incredibly helpful, thoughtful and took their time with me and explained everything clearly and concisely.<br><br>The tests they recommended were perfect and I would have zero hesitation in recommending them for allergy testing.<br><br>Amazing experience. Thank you!

Dr Wong is the best. He is so gentle, patient, and kind. He takes time to explain things and I did not feel rushed out. His staff is amazing as well. I would highly recommend Dr Wong and his team.
