I visited South Coast Family Medical Center today for the first time and was thoroughly impressed! Dr. Lauren Davis was so kind, personable, and knowledgeable. She made me feel like a person, instead of feeling rushed out the door like so many other doctor’s offices do. She spent ample time with me, answered all of my questions. and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I am so glad I found this practice and will absolutely be back (although hopefully not too soon! Haha)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lauren Davis. She is, without question, the most compassionate, attentive, and thorough primary care physician I’ve ever had. I’ve been her patient for years and willingly drive close to an hour each way because the level of care she provides is truly worth it. She listens, she cares deeply about her patients, and she never makes you feel rushed or dismissed. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines medical expertise with genuine compassion the way she does. I also highly recommend Christopher Davis, who has been consistently professional and supportive as part of the practice. My only frustration has been with the front desk staff. On a few occasions, when I’ve called with follow-up questions or concerns shortly after an appointment, I’ve been told I need to schedule another visit rather than being able to leave a note for the doctor. This can be a bit challenging, especially when you don’t live in the same county and have already recently been seen. That said, the quality of care provided by Dr. Davis far outweighs this inconvenience. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional primary care physician.
