We had a couple experiences with Vicki at the front that were terrible experiences. She spoke to us poorly when trying to figure out a sensitive, urgent matter in regards to our elderly pet. Had no empathy or sympathy. Told us to think of our animal like it’s our family…. Exactly what we were doing… she spoke poorly about the Vet’s and even made a comment like “she wouldn’t know that” when speaking about a Vet. I emailed the office manager and it’s been a few weeks now with no response….

Had to take one cat to get his rabies and yearly check-up and the staff were very good with him.....
Price assessment: Reasonable price

Thank you! All of us strive to provide excellent experiences for our clients and their pets, and we're glad that shows to you. Thanks for coming to see us!
We have been going to South Point Pet Hospital for a little over a year. Dr. Sarah Taylor was genuinely very kind and compassionate. She did an assessment of our senior dog a few months ago and prepared us for the inevitable (our pooch had a lot of pain from arteritis). I will also say that the entire staff were very caring (especially Gerry, the receptionist). We recently had to let our furry family member go a few weeks ago and we recently received a card (with our pooch's paw, nose, and ear prints) from the entire staff. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

Thank you so much for sharing your heartfelt experience with us. We're sorry for your loss and are grateful that Dr. Sarah Taylor and our team could provide support and care during such a difficult time. It's touching to know that our gesture brought some comfort. We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation.
Be aware over charges on your bill. I was charged with services that were not performed. That was the last time I was a customer there.

We're sorry to hear you had a negative experience. We weren't able to locate your information in our system, so we'd love for you to give us a call directly so we can look into your concerns and speak with you personally. Thank you!
1 star. Just learned South Point Pet Hospital is owned by a private equity group that keeps the local name so it doesn’t look corporate. Two experiences explain why that matters.
Our 6 month old kitten had a partial prolapse. They scheduled surgery without ever examining her first. As new pet owners we trusted them. The $2,000 surgery failed within hours and they only refunded $600 after we pushed back. She still has the prolapse today.
Later they recommended a dental cleaning and told us to wait for their “dental month” discount in February. At checkout, the discounted price was higher than the original estimate. Only got it honored after arguing.
Skip the exam, push the expensive option, inflate the “discount.” Feels like a PE playbook, not a vet clinic. Go local instead.
Edit: This review is for South Point Pet Hospital and the veterinarian’s name was Soniya Sinha, D.V.M. She performed the surgery on our cat, Delilah.

Dr. Ball was great to work with because she was thorough when explaining our cat's condition and options. The reception staff is always friendly.

Always wonderful to see our friends at South Point. They have taken great care of all of our pets and got us through a very hard time with our Storm.
