The technicians, Daniel and Dade did a great job locating the bees and the hive. They got the queen and are able to relocate the bees humanely.
Every year I get underground yellow jackets. I thought I could bait them to stop them coming back. I tried the pure apple juice, apple cider vinegar and pure boric acid recipe for baiting. Two weeks later, no effect. I think I was feeding the nest instead of killing it!! I watched a YouTube guy recommend not hiring professionals and buying a can of wasp killer from Home Depot. Sounded like just half the job would be done, because the nest remained in place. To me, removal of the nest is complete peace of mind. SE Bees Removal, as it's name says, REMOVES the nest.

Leslie Coy6 reviewsiTotal number of Google reviews Leslie has written across all businesses on Google Maps, not just this one.
If I could give them 10 stars I would, seriously. I'm a former beekeeper - at one point I had 5 hives filled with bees in my backyard, for roughly 5 years running. I share this because it helps me appreciate what these guys did (more on that below). The bees set up their home way up at my roofline, and I'm not super interested in surgically removing bees from my exterior wall 15 feet up, so I knew I had to call in the pros.
For people who don't know: you can't spray a bee colony and think that you're good. First off, it won't kill all of them. Second, even if you do kill them with pesticide (pls don't), honeybees build comb, filled with nectar, pollen, honey, and brood. You CANNOT leave that in your walls. It'll attract all manner of insects, rodents, moths, etc. and eventually the honey will turn rancid and all that moisture will do damage to your house. Like bad damage. So you've got to call in people that specialize in this stuff.
Anyhow, back to Southeast Bee Removal...
- They're super responsive.
- I sent a couple of videos of the situation and they quoted me off of that. Super simple, zero drama.
- They said they'd be out soon. I was expecting a week. Nope; they came out within a couple of days.
- The price was insanely fair relative to the potential damage done to my house.
They arrive, and two hours later they've assessed the situation, pulled off siding, cleaned out the bees, comb, etc., filled in the entrypoint, replaced my siding, caulked it, and buttoned everything up so well I can't even notice anything happened.
Absolutely killer service, I can't recommend them highly enough.

On Saturday morning, I woke up to a bathroom full of yellow jackets. After one company came out and was not able to get rid of the nest, I found SEBR on google Monday and the guys were at my house first thing Wednesday AM. They were professional, thorough and made me feel at ease. They were able to remove the drywall that the bees had eaten through (who knew!), remove the hive, the bees and repair the drywall. They cleaned up so well, I could hardly tell they were here. I would give them 10 stars if it would allow me. If you have a bee problem, these are the guys to call!!

Andrew of Southeast Bee Removal went above and beyond to help me with a bee situation - and he did it completely for free.
I called on a Sunday evening, expecting to leave a voicemail, but Andrew answered. He listened patiently as I described the problem, then calmly explained why it was likely nothing to worry about. He said that the bees would probably move on naturally within a few days and told me exactly what signs to watch for.
The next day I spoke with him again and sent him a video of the bees. He graciously reviewed it and confirmed his assessment. Thanks to his guidance over those two days, I was able to avoid an on-site visit.
Everything played out exactly as Andrew predicted — the bees disappeared.
Andrew's generosity with his time and knowledge put my mind at ease in a stressful situation - all at no charge!

I contacted the company because I thought I had a bee colony inside one of my outside walls. We chatted via text and after sending videos, pictures, and answering a lot of questions I had, we determined I have Mason bees and not honey bees. I am grateful that they took the time to consult with me to ensure I made the right decision despite not having to not need their services in the end. Very professional.

Steve was responsive and considerate to my inquiries! As it turns out, my infestation was a carpenter bee colony… not honey bees… but he was helpful in developing a plan to relocate the bees, without destroying them… every flower needs pollen, right?
Very thankful for his time, patience and consideration! B. Bishop, East Cobb
