If I were buying a hot tub again, I’d choose a different company. I bought a hot tub to relieve stress - not to subscribe to it.<br>The problems started with the pavers in my backyard. They scratched them, then polished them to fix the damage - removing the protective layer in the process. I’m still dealing with the consequences: the pavers are now crumbling from exposure to the weather. Their “fix” turned out to be the gift that keeps on giving.<br><br>We’ve owned our Wellis hot tub for almost three years, and now the shell has started peeling, leaving thin pieces of plastic floating in the water.<br><br>I contacted their warranty department through the form on their website. A week went by with no response. I called - no answer. After leaving a voicemail, I finally got a callback the next day. They scheduled a service visit for the following week, with a $65 service fee. Fine. At least we were getting somewhere.<br>Then, on the day of the appointment, they called to say the technician couldn’t make it. The next available appointment? Another week away.<br><br>Meanwhile, my hot tub is sitting empty and unusable. Whatever their staffing issues may be, customers shouldn’t be left dealing with the consequences. A warranty is only as good as the service behind it - and so far, the main thing they’ve delivered is an opportunity to practice patience.<br><br>Buyer beware: When you’re making an expensive purchase for your home, choose a company that can support what it sells - not just close the sale.
