Absolutely incredible. Elaine was our guide and she was amazing. It was our first time on horseback and she gave very clear, concise instructions and was really helpful. We had the best time and definitely enjoyed getting out of downtown Austin for the day checking out the Canyon Lake location. Don’t look anywhere else if you’re wanting a trail ride with an easy booking process, beautiful views & personable guides! Oh, and the sweetest horses 🫶🏻 10/10 recommend!

Did the sunset train and it was a great experience, we had birtha and cowgirl both such beautiful horses! The guides were great so friendly and helpful would 100% recommend

We had such a wonderful sunset ride with Earl and Ken! We came from Washington state for a wedding and got to slip in a wonderful ride to our trip. Beautiful facility, friendly staff, amazing horses, and gorgeous property. Would absolutely do it again. Please give our horses extra treats for being so fun and sweet. It was so fun to be back on the trails.

Alicia was just amazing and of course my sweet horse for the ride, Cowgirl, was a delight. Alicia made us feel comfortable and safe, also confident and encouraged during our ride. Such a lovely experience with a wonderful guide!

Souther Trails in new Braunfels Is the place to go for horseback riding especially if you have a new rider. Elaine was wonderful at explaining how to brush the horse how to touch the horse how to clean his hoofs, saddle the horse and to put the bridal on and also how to tell the horse which way you want them to go by the way, the reins are positioned. Elaine- Excellent care, knowlegable, trainer and funny lady. I highly recommend going there.

My husband and I enjoyed our tour guide Ashlyn and the horses Roman and Sweetie. The guide was very personable and knowledgeable about the horses and we enjoyed hearing little fun facts about many of the horses on the trail ride.
