Great products but don’t let them install. The crews they use are inexperienced. They plant too low and leave metal rings on trees which can lead to underdevelopment root systems. This was verified by a licensed arborist in Tulsa. We had trees start to lean because of this and had to pay someone to correct the mistake

Mr. Tracy, we are happy we were able to continue to work with you over the summer to help stake your trees. As discussed, the trees are likely struggling in their location due to staying excessively wet. Trees that are planted too low would show signs of stress within the first year or so- not several years later like yours have. Leaving the metal basket on a root ball protects the integrity of the root ball. There is some disagreement in the landscaping industry about how to treat the metal, but our research and experience makes us comfortable with the way we handle the wire baskets. Our crews have been planting trees around Tulsa for us for decades and we take great pride in their skill and experience.

Southwood isn’t your basic plant store. It has surprised me with live music outside, free drinks on a random Thursday, tricycles for kids to ride, etc. They have the plants and the plant knowledge but also the fun aesthetic. Their clothes, home decor and holiday items are awesome. They always have a special deal on some plant if you want to try something new. It’s hard to leave without buying something but also hard to leave in a bad mood.

I love this garden center when it comes to looking for what I need for gardening. Prices are a little higher, but the plants from here seem to be healthier and thrive better. Compared to what you get in a home and garden chain store. Customer Service has always been above and beyond when I go in the store.

Talk about AMAZING!! 2nd time to come in and it won't be my last. This is by far the best garden store ive been too in Oklahoma and one that has varieties galore of plants and flowers that you could possibly want or may not know about!

Nice nursery, but it is impossible to get anyone on the phone to ask a simple question. I don’t live in town. All I want to know is if you have a particular plant so I don’t have to drive in town for no reason. Very frustrating.

Went there thinking they would be too pricey, but was pleasantly surprised. Got snowball bush and some ornamental grass for my backyard. They have a massive selection. They even have loading zone. The parking lot seemed small at first, but as I drove through I realized it's U shaped. So plenty of parking!
