Courtney was warm and welcoming from the start and provided a much needed relaxing massage which never felt rushed or lacking. Will definitely look forward to being a regular !
I love the service, the team was very friendly. I will continue visiting the salon. The nail tech, Mao was very friendly and very nice, I wants her when I get back.

Very disappointing experience at Spa Nijoli & Salon in Methuen. I’m turning 62, and after spending much of the last two years caring for others, I decided to finally do something special for myself. This hair appointment was my birthday gift to me. When I booked, I was very clear that I wanted a full base color, full highlights, and a haircut. I explained that my hair was dry from previous box color and specifically requested an experienced colorist. I also asked if they needed any additional information from me. When I arrived, I was told I had been booked incorrectly and there was not enough time to provide the services I had requested. The manager then told me I ideally should have scheduled a consultation first. That was incredibly frustrating. If a consultation was necessary, why wasn’t I told that when I called and explained exactly what I wanted? They had no problem taking my credit card to reserve the appointment, but apparently not enough care was taken to make sure the appointment was actually booked correctly. The solution offered was to split my services between two different people and have me spend even more time at the salon. That was not the experience I requested or booked. I left without having my hair done, extremely disappointed. A salon experience should begin with good communication, especially when a client has clearly explained what she wants. This was supposed to be a special birthday treat and instead became an unnecessary frustration. I will not be returning and would not recommend this salon based on the poor communication and handling of my appointment.

I have been having severe back and shoulder pain for the past month or so, I tried a chiropractor but there was no relief. I went to Spa Nijoli for a massage, and it was like night and day. Hunter was able to help me get the tension out of my back and shoulder. I feel so much better and was finally able to have a good night's sleep. Thank you, Hunter!
