I began taking private lessons at SpeakItaly to prepare for the B1 language exam for Italian citizenship through marriage. The lessons were extremely helpful for both improving my Italian and for feeling confident going into the exam. After passing the exam, I have continued with group classes. I appreciate that SpeakItaly keeps classes to a small group so that there are plenty of opportunities to practice speaking.
I have also been using SpeakItaly for my citizenship application. It has been very helpful having Raffaella to guide me through the process!

We had a wonderful experience with SpeakItaly Camp in Manhattan this summer! My 4-year-old son attended for two weeks, and it exceeded our expectations.
The teachers were incredibly warm, attentive, and caring. They created a nurturing environment where every child received plenty of individual attention, thanks to the small class sizes.
One of our favorite parts was seeing how much Italian my son picked up in such a short time. He would come home every day happily singing Italian songs and sharing new words and phrases he had learned. It was such a joy to see his enthusiasm and confidence grow.
We are grateful for the positive, immersive experience SpeakItaly provided. We recommend it to any family looking for a fun, enriching, and welcoming Italian language camp for young children! Grazie mille!

Great teachers, nice school but I feel too much was crammed into the class that I didnt really learn much...need more repetitive practice instead of moving on so quickly

As far as programming, we follow an Italian curriculum which is the same for all language schools adopting the communicative approach. I am sorry to hear you felt you received so many information that you couldn’t process them in full but on the bright side, you now have the right foundation to focus on reinforcing what you learnt and gain confidence. Speak Italy made learning both basic and more advanced concepts of Italian friendly, comprehensive, and easily accessible. Staff including teachers and administration were extremely responsive and accommodating. Finding the right class and signing up was simple. I now feel I have a very strong base for continuing to study questa bellissima lingua e se voglio continuare a studiare l’italiano, lo farò volentieri con Speak Italy! È stato un piacere imparare da voi!

Speakitaly makes a wonderful Italian-studying experience! The teachers are great, the other students have been fun, and the administration is kind and communicative. Have been taking classes there for a while, and would totally recommend!
I did my Italian cittadinanza exam, level B1, at this wonderful school and got the highest score! I'm so happy! The entire staff who looked after the students and time was very friendly and made us feel at ease. They are very polite and friendly. Rafaella, in particular, is very professional and dedicated, and everyone felt very comfortable with her. She is amazing!!!! Thank you all! If I lived in the United States, I would study with you!
