Specialized Refinishing Co. did an amazing job refinishing our garden tub, shower, and vanity! Everything looks brand new and completely transformed our bathroom. The quality of their work far exceeded my expectations. Jess, our sales rep, was fantastic to work with. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Her communication made everything smooth and stress-free. The technicians were professional, efficient, and paid close attention to detail, leaving everything spotless when they were done. Paid for a bathtub and shower refinish under the guise of a lifetime warranty. This 'lifetime' lasted about a year and a half, and it keeps getting worse. I called to ask about them honoring their lifetime warranty and setting up a technician visit, and they said they would be happy to look up my information and get back to me after receiving pictures. After pictures were sent I got a response that they had gone out of business, and that their numbers and contacts were purchased by 'Renov8 Refinishing'. If I could give less than 1 star I would - DO NOT USE!!!
At the moment this company is NOT living up to the lifetime warranty they offer and advertise. Tub was completed in Feb 2024, and we already have paint chipping off the tub. Amanda was first, very responsive and was provided all information requested. Amanda stated they would find someone to come out to fix the paint chips that have come off the tub and uphold their lifetime warranty. It has been a week since this email conversation and now Amanda has been dodging all emails, calls and visits. Were very sad at the lack of professionalism, communication and not upholding there end of the lifetime warranty deal. Especially since the work was completed only 5 months ago! Sounds like a company that likes to take your money and not complete their end of the promise they offer if something goes wrong. I do hope this issue gets resolved and I’m able to write a better review with a better rating. Wish us luck as we continue to try to get our tub fixed with SpecializedRefinishing now also known as RenoV8. **UPDATE 8/24*** After multiple attempts, calls and emails, we finally have a date scheduled for Specialized Refinishing Co to complete the warranty repair work. Very excited.

Hermes did a great job! Very pleased with our resurfaced tub.
Be careful entrusting this company with your business (and money). Last April I had three tubs refinished, one of which had to be done again due to quality issues (which they addressed). I'm now dealing with one of the tub finishes chipping around the drain and their Atlanta office number is now disconnected. I've emailed the owner (Will) multiple times asking how to get their lifetime warranty honored and received no response. I went with them last year due to their supposed lifetime warranty; I guess the warranty only applies if it's convenient for them. Proceed with caution.

Hermes is a magician! He is happy, considerate, and very professional; but, most of all extremely talented at his trade. My 1965 tile and tub look brand new! I am blown away by the difference, and so grateful I called Specialized Refinishing (they were the only ones who called me back!)!
