FYI...Dr. Ballentine is a great doctor, but the supporting staff that I dealt with at SMOC suck. They have absolutely NO compassion. I had a visit on October 2, and today is October 21 and I am still waiting on them to make 1 call so my insurance will pay for the subscribed medication. I shouldn't have to beg people to do the job they are getting paid to do.
Customer service is the worse. They just not trying to answer any calls

AI system is a pain-AI asks you questions you jump through all the hoops only to be routed to an answering service to leave more messages and get zero response. I’m looking for another provider if they can’t get with it. Being able to discuss medical issues with a person makes a difference - and getting a response and business handled without having to physically go to the office would be optimal. Seem to be left in a void.

My review is solely based off of my curtain experience and will be updated as needed. I have been trying to get in contact as a new patient with no luck. Multiple phone calls, website inquiries, and even an email sent. Their AI system makes it impossible to get ahold of a staff member and even leaving a message is near impossible. I attempted to sign up for text replies and that too failed. I really wanted to see a specific doctor here and it has been made impossible, forcing me to look elsewhere. Hoping they fix this for future patients. My understanding is once you’re in, you have portal access that allows easier communication, but I am not sure how to actually become a patient.
if you want an appointment with these people expect to be on hold for hours i can never reach these people when i call goes straight to voice and online portal sucks
