We couldn't be happier with our experience at Stauffer Surgical Center! Our 135-pound, 9-year-old dog needed a toe amputated after years of recurring infections and unsuccessful treatments. From start to finish, we were impressed by the exceptional combination of expertise, compassion, warmth, and patience of the entire team. Dr. Spivack took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answer all our questions, and put us at ease. Steph, the receptionist, was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the nurses were just as wonderful, making sure we understood everything we needed to know about his recovery.
The entire process was remarkably smooth, efficient, and much easier than we expected. Just three weeks after surgery, our dog was feeling better than he had in years! We are so grateful to Dr. Spivack and her team for their outstanding care. I sincerely hope we never need a veterinary surgeon again, but if we do, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to return to Stauffer Surgical Center. Highly recommended!
Timmy had a good visit with Dr. Timm. He got x-rays and a consultation with the Dr. to discuss next steps.He had surgery a couple of weeks ago and loves his visits with the staff.
Our thirteen year old dog needed TPLO surgery. Every interaction with the members of Stauffer Veterinary Surgical Center was expert, caring, friendly, and clear prior to surgery, the day of surgery, and during recovery. The trip from our Chicago area home was worth every minute and saved us a considerable amount of money. Our thirteen year old darling is ready to live more happy years with our family.
We couldn’t be more thankful for Stauffer Surgical Center and their entire team! Our 8-year-old Goldendoodle, Tito, tore his CCL on a Tuesday, and by Monday they had us in for a consultation and surgery. From the very beginning, everyone was incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate.
Dr. Timm took the time to thoroughly explain the TPLO surgery, answer all of our questions, and walk us through what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. You could truly tell how passionate he is about what he does and how much he cares about his patients.
The staff was also wonderful and did an excellent job explaining everything at post-op pickup, making us feel confident about caring for Tito at home.
We are so grateful for the care Tito received and would highly recommend Dr. Timm and his team to anyone looking for an excellent orthopedic surgeon for their dog! Also, the lady who works the front desk is such a nice lady and very helpful! It’s always a good sign when the first person you interact with is such a great person.
We had a consultation with Dr. Timm today regarding our daughter's 10 year old husky, Luna. He was so informative and explained everything. He even allowed us to FaceTime my daughter so she could be involved and fully understand Luna's treatment plan. Dr. Timm and Stephanie are awesome!
