They smashed my tv and broke our dresser…..oh yeah, and then took us to court because they broke our stuff. They lost the case and now aren’t paying the court ordered settlement to us. If you’re moving, just throw all your stuff down the stairs because that’s how (non)Stellar Moving handles their customers belongings.

We recently used this moving company to help my oldest daughter move into her new apartment, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. Lee and Zach were outstanding! From finish to start, they were professional, courteous, and incredibly efficient. They handled every item with care, treating my daughter's belongings as if they were their own. I was worried about an older solid wood bedroom set, passed down from her grandmother as it is quite heavy and holds a lot of sentimental value. Not only did they move it safely, but they took extra precautions to protect it throughout the process. Moving is so stressful, but Lee and Zach made the day smooth and worry-free. Their professionalism, positive attitudes and strong work ethic truly stood out. If you're looking for movers who are reliable, respectful, and genuinely care about your belongings, I highly recommend this team. Thank you for helping make my daughters move such a positive experience!

9.9.2026 We recently moved and Stellar Moving Company did such an amazing job. We could never have done it without them. The two movers arrived at the quoted time, moved quickly and if we needed anything, they were very accommodating. They were both were respectful of our items and us. Also, James, who scheduled our move was very prompt in replying to us - which is very much appreciated. Keep up the fantastic work. We would definitely recommend Stellar Moving's service. Very professional and quickly moved stuff
I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but after everything our family experienced with Stellar Moving Company, I feel it’s important to share what happened. My sister and brother-in-law were involved in a devastating motorcycle accident and were unable to return to their home, so our family had to coordinate their move for them. Stellar knew the circumstances. I was personally there supervising the move. One item I was especially concerned about was an antique solid-wood dresser that has been in our family for generations. I specifically pointed it out, explained how important and fragile it was, and was told it would be wrapped and handled carefully. When it arrived at the new home, it was not wrapped, and the wood supporting the mirror had been significantly broken. When the damage was noticed, one of the movers immediately said, “That was like that.” It absolutely was not. I had personally seen the dresser beforehand and specifically discussed its condition with them. A 65-inch television was also damaged. The outside appeared fine, but when it was turned on, roughly half of the screen was black. At another pickup location, the movers loaded furniture and left without communicating that they were finished even though boxes and belongings still remained. This left me, my husband—who had a separated shoulder at the time—and another person to load the remaining items ourselves. I also personally witnessed belongings hitting walls and doorways during the move. When my sister tried to resolve the damage, Stellar offered approximately $0.60 per pound, which came nowhere close to repairing or replacing the damaged property. She understandably did not want to pay the final $392 balance until the damage was addressed and repeatedly tried to reach a reasonable resolution. Instead, Stellar took her to small claims court over the $392. At the time, my sister was recovering from catastrophic injuries and had recently undergone a leg amputation. The court ruled in her favor and ordered Stellar to pay her. Stellar then appealed, forcing her to rearrange medical appointments and go through court a second time. The court ruled in her favor again. They still owe her money. Things can get damaged during a move. What matters is how a company responds when that happens. Based on what I personally witnessed and how this situation was handled afterward, I would never recommend Stellar Moving Company. If you are considering hiring them, I strongly suggest asking exactly what coverage applies if your belongings are damaged and getting everything in writing before your property ever goes on their truck.

I am not one to normally go online and bash a company, but I feel like I have to get the word out about Stellar Moving Company, owned by Cuyler James Shepler. After our accident, we had to hire this company to move our belongings out of our home because we were no longer able to live there. They knew our situation and why we needed their services. Their website stated, “100% licensed and insured” which is why we hired them. I was out of town on the moving date, so my sister and several of our friends orchestrated the move. One of the items being moved was a solid wood dresser that is an heirloom and has been in our family for many generations. My sister specifically asked that it be handled with care. When the dresser arrived at our new home, the worker immediately said, “That was like that,” while pointing out a significant break in the wood. It was NOT like that. The dresser had been damaged during the move. Along with the dresser, a 65-inch flat-screen TV was also broken. When Stellar Moving Company sent the invoice for the remaining balance, we explained that we did not feel comfortable paying the balance until the damaged items were properly addressed. They initially offered to pay $0.60 per pound toward the damaged items, which would have amounted to roughly $30 for the items. We respectfully declined that offer and attempted to work with them to reach a reasonable resolution. After going back and forth, and after we declined their “final offer” of taking a few hundred dollars off the remaining balance, Stellar Moving Company took me to small claims court for $392 — the remaining balance after the deposit we had already paid. Keep in mind, our family was already dealing with the aftermath of an accident that completely turned our lives upside down. I then had to attend the initial court hearing via Zoom because I had just undergone an amputation of my leg. The court ruled in my favor, and Stellar Moving Company was ordered to pay me money. You would think that would be the end of it. It wasn’t. Instead of accepting the ruling, Stellar Moving Company appealed the decision. I then had to cancel medical appointments and rearrange my life to attend court a second time. And once again, the court ruled in my favor. They still owe me money. The amount awarded does not come close to making up for the damage to our belongings or the enormous amount of stress this entire situation caused our family. We have never once asked for a handout. We simply expected a moving company to take responsibility for property that was damaged while in their care and to work with us toward a reasonable resolution. Our family has already had to endure more than we ever imagined. Adding this unnecessary stress during one of the most difficult periods of our lives was incredibly disappointing. I would never recommend Stellar Moving Company based on our experience. If you are considering hiring them, please do your research, ask questions about how damaged belongings are handled, and make sure you understand the terms of your agreement before trusting them with your property. I am sharing our experience because I would not want another family to go through what we did. Please share this so others can make an informed decision.
