I can’t even tell you the number of times that Rose Pace and her fantastic staff at Sterling vacations has helped me have a wonderful trip. It’s one thing to do business with somebody a time or two, but to continually use the services of Rose and and her great group of professional travel experts really says a lot about what kind of business they do. They are honest…they know what they’re doing…and they have years and years of experience doing it! I have to stop a second and thank you, Rose… Thank you for all the years of great vacations. Diane and I talk about you often and it’s because of the impact you’ve had on our lives. We just got back from Alaska two nights ago. What a fantastic way for us to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. You also booked us on a princess cruise to the Caribbean for our honeymoon 42 years ago. And there were a couple of other cruises in there somewhere too! All fantastic vacations. This cruise started out in Seattle where you gave us the great advice to get there at least a day early so that we could not only experience the city, but should any last-minute bump arise in the road you’ve got an extra day to handle it. Seattle was great. The hotel was great and the Norwegian Cruise Line Encore was incredible. The food was incredible. The service was incredible and the views were out of this world. Our first stop was Juneau the capital of the state which we toured on our own and then we took the NCL tour to Mendenhall Glacier and salmon bake. When I first saw the glacier, it made me feel like the first time I ever saw the ocean it was really that fabulous. The salmon was also fabulous and the bus driver who took us. She was also fabulous. Her name was Peggi with an eye, and she was a dandy. Next, we stopped in Skagway, where we took advantage of some great shopping and the train ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route. What a history lesson that is and a great train ride. Don’t miss it! The weather was fantastic in Ketchikan! We loved our days at sea. We did not miss a meal. Victoria, British Columbia is beautiful, especially at night with all the lights. Thanks again, Rose. These folks did a terrific job getting us a cabin on American Cruise Lines trip around Lake Michigan in August 2026. Great staff, food and excursions. Highly recommend Sterling!

Rose was exceptionally helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

We have used Rose in the past to coordinate two Caribbean cruises. She did an excellent job. Now we’re using her again to plan both an Alaskan cruise and a New England cruise. Rose is very pleasant to work with. She knows exactly what we need as far as insurance, transfers and has handled this for us. She is patient with all my questions and has helped me make flight decisions which better fit our needs, as well as, hotel selection. We have saved both money and time by using Rose as our travel agent. We definitely plan on using her again for our travel needs. Thank you, Rose!

My wife and I wanted to travel overseas for a special celebration of our 57 years marriage. My wife has some mobility issues so we had to consider that limitation in planning our trip. Rose was so helpful in reviewing the plusses and minuses for various locations and modes of travel. Together we settled on a two week cruise around Great Britain and Ireland with nine ports to pursue excursions. Rose arranged tickets for air, shuttles to and from airport and the cruise itself and lodging in England. It made our trip much easier and pleasant. We will use Rose again for any future trips.

Rose at Sterling Vacations has booked numerous trips for my family and for several of my friends. She has given us valuable information that has enriched our travels and has always been available to answer any of our questions.
