my son loves it! very well led classes. they were very nice about when he first started and ensuring he was comfortable! good for any child! it's fun and interactive. my son looks forward to every lesson!

Master Mark is amazing. He's knowledgeable , great with kids, and makes classes fun even for the adults. My son and I love going to classes every week! This is a perfect outlet for kids with ADHD and I wish I had gotten my son started sooner.

I have known and worked with Master Mark now for nearly a decade. He has taught me directly, administered my own ceremonies, and even assisted in lessons at our school.
In my experience, finding an instructor who brings passion to their teaching equal to their own Martial Arts ambition is rare.
You will be hard pressed to find an instructor more dedicated to their craft, but more importantly, in inspiring and bringing out the best in each and every student who steps on his mats.
If you are in the Monadnock Region, or quite frankly anywhere, you would benefit greatly from being a part of Master Mark's program.

This has been such a great experience not only for my son who’s 4 but me as well. Watching him focus and listen. The other instructors as well as Steve are amazing and so patient with the children. I recommend this to anyone I come in contact with.Thank you sincerely Steve and crew.

SDSS is a great place for kids to get Martial Arts training. Both our kids have gone here for several years. My son started at 8 and my daughter at 10. Master Mark does an incredible job with kids of all ages, skills and temperaments. He really does great work with my children, and they respect him, the studio and work really hard because of that. I also love the social events, my son looks forward to "Kids Night Out", as well as the summer day camps. Just an all around great place for kids. Thanks SDSS for having such an excellent program!

I highly recommend this martial arts school. My son has been training here for nearly 10 years, and it has been an incredibly positive experience for him.
Master Mark is an outstanding instructor who truly cares about his students. He not only teaches martial arts with dedication and patience, but also organizes fun events that keep the kids engaged and excited to come to class.
My son especially enjoys helping other students as a Student Helper, and it has been wonderful to see him grow in confidence and leadership through this role. I am very grateful to Master Mark for giving him these opportunities.
