Retained Mr. Hanna after being charged with a criminal offense that never should have been anything more than a civil matter. From our first conversation, Mr. Hanna aggressively came to my defense and continued to reassure me that everything would work out. He maintained contact with me through every step of the case and kept me updated on all developments. Mr. Hanna returned all phone calls and emails within a couple of hours. His extensive knowledge of the legal system definitely set my mind at ease. I could not be happier with the ultimate outcome of the case. He assured me that the Commonwealth would drop the charge and that's exactly what happened. I highly recommend Mr. Hanna to anyone in need of legal assistance. Not only is he an excellent attorney, but a caring individual as well. If it were possible to give ten stars instead of five, I would.

I really appreciate it. It was a great result but if the investigator had properly investigated the case, I'm skeptical whether you would have been charged in the first place
This is a false review. This person's other reviews show he lives in Singapore and previously lived in Thailand. He visits Baltimore from time to time. I have never represented this person and have no idea who he is. Google needs to delete this fake review.

Steven Hanna was recommended to me by my sister as being the best attorney in the area, and she wasn’t wrong. He was very thorough and forthcoming with my situation, explaining step by step. He was always courteous and professional especially in returning my calls and emails in a timely manner. Mr. Hanna went above and beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Did not represent my boyfriend at all. Terribly upset about communication and the facts during and after the case......<br><br>10/17 response- Firstly, I never said the failure to appear was for me not your client.<br><br>Secondly, you could have called other putting his business on line. Not once did I go into details about anything that we need to discuss in private. My email is clearly on this review and you could have used it.<br><br>If you read it I said communication. Was the main issue.<br><br>Thank you finally for the information. Thank you for talking to the judge but there are still discrepanies id like to further discuss. Hope to hear from you again in a more private setting.

This review is dishonest. First of all, I did not represent your boyfriend on a simple failure to appear as you emailed me. (Oct. 19 update: I don't know what to make of the fact that you wrote negatively yet possibly wanted to retain me for your own matter.) He was charged with a second probation violation. This case is being appealed from our court date 36 days ago. I informed your boyfriend I would appeal the matter. Your boyfriend had 125 years over his head from a number of very serious prior convictions. By my calculation, he'll be released in about 23 months. I met with your boyfriend and fully prepared for his probation violation. He was previously found guilty of violating his probation when he was convicted of a new offense in Georgia. Unfortunately, he subsequently failed to register as a sex offender for several years in Georgia. He then absconded from supervision from both Georgia and Virginia for several years. In our recent case, we had a substitute retired judge from another part of the state. He is notoriously tough. The prosecutor wanted the judge to max him out on the high end of the guidelines. I talked the judge out of that, but the judge did revoke more time than I had hoped for. Considering he had 125 years over his head, and he should be home in about 23 months, I did not do too bad of a job at all. ( By the way, the above information was stated by the judge in open court and he was very flustered with your boyfriend.)
Mr.Hanna was an excellent lawyer . He did not disappoint he communicated and kept his word he is not like any lawyer I felt like he actually cared about the case . I would recommend him 10x !! I’m not a bot either lol HE GETS THE JOB DONE !!!!

My husband got a ticket on our way home to Baltimore from Florida. Mr. Hanna was able to get my husband reckless driving (87/55) ticket reduced down to improper driving, which was amazing. His very calm and very confident of his work. When I talk to him i can feel that he can do his job. His price is way better compared to others. He never asked a lot of documents just the ticket and the fee. He will call you back when you want to talk to him. He is a great lawyer. I would highly recommend Mr. Hanna.

Mr. Hanna was able to get my reckless driving (82/55) ticket reduced down to improper driving, which was amazing. He was great to work with throughout and set my mind at ease that it would all be taken care of. Best of all, his price was better than almost all the other lawyers I contacted, and I never even had to go to court or travel to Petersburg in person. I would highly recommend Mr. Hanna, without caveat!
