We learned so much at Stork’s Baby Care and Infant CPR class. Our instructor Christina had a wealth of knowledge and experience that felt us feeling much better prepared for the birth of our first child. I had done a lot of research and read many books earlier yet still learned so much new information and was glad we waited until a month before our due date to absorb as much as we could. Highly recommend this class to any new parents, we took so many notes and left feeling much for confident and well informed.

My wife and I did the in person baby care and CPR class. The presenter did a great job covering all the basics and we loved she was a nurse and a mom so she approached all issues and questions from both angles.

We did not like the Cord Blood Registry salesperson we had to sit through for 45 minutes at the beginning (yes - 1/4 of the entire class time). We then had to skip planned breaks to get back on schedule and even that only left us 10-15 minutes of actual hands on interaction with the dolls.

I'd recommend they cut CBR from the program and give their customers more of what they paid for.

As a new doula, I just took a Child/Infant CPR/Chocking class through Stork Childbirth Education. I signed up through the listing on their website, and then emailed a couple of times with Vanessa for instructions on how to use the class to get my certification card. Stork Childbirth Education were very responsive, getting back to me in 24-48 hours. They set up the logistics of communication around the class to be straightforward, smooth and easy. The class itself was also good. Located very conveniently, required masking, was led with skill and humor by a nurse with Georgetown H. I'd come back for more classes with them. :)

Stork Childbirth Education sponsored our CPR training for a K-12 school with over 300 employees, all of whom are required to have certification. Their efficiency, knowledge, and professionalism set them apart from other providers. Thank you to Flynn, Lauren, Vanessa, and their team for ensuring we are prepared to support our students in the event of an emergency.

I can't say enough about the professional, thorough training my staff and I received from Stork Childbirth Education. They took their time explaining each process of the CPR and First Aid course and answered all of our questions. After the class, we feel very prepared to use what we learned in the case of an emergency. I have already recommended others to use Stork for their CPR/First Aid needs.

Being pregnant with my first baby early in the pandemic, I was really nervous about not being able to do a real birthing class. I came across Stork and did their virtual baby bootcamp, and am so glad I did! It really made me feel prepared for the experience and demystified the terms doctors were using and the various ways I could go into labor and how it could progress. As a bonus for me, the nurse teaching was a nurse at Sibley, where I was going to deliver, so she was able to actually speak to practices at the exact place I was doing to deliver. Having now had two babies at Sibley, I can confirm that her version of what to expect was accurate! As a second time mom and coordinating a community mamas group, I was grateful that Vanessa from Stork volunteered her time to speak to our group. It’s a great women-led local business that gives back to the community.

We did a private infant care and CPR class with Christina and it was incredibly helpful. As first time parents, the information that Christina shared helped put our minds at ease and feel more prepared for the steps ahead. Christina provided a lot of information clearly and in a way that made sense and patiently answered all of our questions. Additionally, scheduling was easy. I had reached out via email and Flynn was quick to respond and provide detailed information about the classes and scheduling. If you're starting your parenting journey, I'd recommend considering Stork!

I used Stork for both CPR/choking and childbirth education for my first child almost three years ago, and I recently had a CPR/choking refresher before the birth of my new baby. Caroline was our nurse/instructor, and she was fantastic! She was professional, thorough, personable, knowledgeable, willing to work with us until we were comfortable. Everyone at Stork that we have worked with over the years has been top-notch. They are responsive and provide excellent instruction and additional resources. Highly recommend!!
