I recently started taking guitar lessons @ Strum University. My instructor is Kieran Lynch. He was on time, very knowledgeable and easy to follow along with. My first impression with Kieran and Strum University was very positive. I would definitely recommend them.
We love Strum so much that’s it’s now a family affair. My son was the first to start drum lessons almost 2 years ago with Kate. I recently started taking guitar lessons @ Strum University. My instructor is Kieran Lynch. He was on time, very knowledgeable and easy to follow along with. My first impression with Kieran and Strum University was very positive. I would definitely recommend them.
We love Strum so much that’s it’s now a family affair. My son was the first to start drum lessons almost 2 years ago with Kate. He enjoyed them so much that it inspired my husband to start guitar lessons. He signed up with Kieran and has been playing for over a year now. Having the guitar around then inspired my son to switch to bass guitar, also with Kieran. I thought “why not?” and started drumming with Kate! I was nervous being an adult old enough to have a young teen, but it has been almost 6 months now and it’s the highlight of my week. Kate is very encouraging and good at keeping me on track, learning new skills while also helping me pick songs that are a good fit for my level. Both Kieran and Kate are good with kids and adults alike. Strum also has rock band classes which is great as soon as my son is brave enough!

My daughter truly enjoys her classes and feels comfortable and motivated to learn. On top of being wonderful with children, Janna also teaches very well and makes music fun and engaging. We are very happy with the progress she has made under Janna’s guidance. Highly recommend!
My son started piano classes with strum under the guidance of Ms. Lisa. She is an incredible teacher and my son enjoys learning with him. Strum university has been a good experience to be with.
Kate is an excellent instructor - our student has really grown thanks to our time at Strum University. We really like the performances in the community - most recently at Desert Ridge. It’s an opportunity to confront stage fright in a safe space. Excellent communication and good scheduling policies. Highly recommend.
Strum University is the best. Kieran Lynch is a great guitar teacher, and the studio is always clean and welcoming. The adult Rock Band with Scotty Spenner is always fun and I enjoy the opportunity to work with other players to develop our set for performance. The extras ( Jam Sessions, Song Nights, etc) are fantastic. If I could rate 10 Stars I would. Back again to update my review!! Kieran Lynch has taught me so much about playing lead guitar in the last year. It’s always a pleasure to go for my lessons. Sometimes we just jam for the whole half hour and it’s so fulfilling to know I can almost keep up with him.
My son just started guitar lessons with Kieran at the Strum University and is excited to come back for new lessons. Kieran is very relatable and makes the class super fun! The registration process was super easy, they answered all of my questions in a kind and understanding manner. I feel good my son is on the learning journey and I’m looking forward to see him play guitar and perform in the future!
