They were able to give me a fun, modern glam that perfectly complemented my dress. I love it here!!!! Everything is stunning and everyone is so kind & fun to be around. I love feeling like we’re all just hanging out every time I come in for an appointment. This is how hair salons were meant to be! I have very thick curly hair that I bleach and Amanda never misses. She takes her time to come up with a result that will give me a beautiful lived-in yet bright and vibrant blonde that will last me a few months before I come back in. I love how open she is to feedback and how much of a perfectionist she is. She wants you to leave with what you want and will do everything in her power to accomplish that. 🫶

Recently, I moved from Chicago to Detroit and a friend of mine recommended Studio Vera to get a blowout while I was recovering from shoulder surgery. From the moment I walked into the salon it was so welcoming, had such a cool vibe and a great aesthetic. I had many blowouts and each stylist was absolutely incredible. However, I have to say Rahela was the next level. Her blowout was superb and one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve also started to go to Georgia for my eyebrows and eyelashes, she is beyond kind and lovely, and an absolute perfectionist. My brows were the best they’ve ever been after my brow lamination and my eyelashes look stunning after my tint and lift. I cannot recommend them enough as I have had my brows, lashes and blowouts done all across the world, and they did an absolute stellar job.

I’ve had such a great experience at Studio Vera and can’t recommend them enough. The salon itself is beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully decorated, but the people are what really make the experience special. Henna is an amazing stylist who takes the time to really listen to what you want and make recommendations based on what’s best for your hair. I especially appreciated how thorough her consultation was before she started cutting my hair. I’ve also had my hair cut by Kelsey, and she was wonderful as well! I also see Georgia for lash lifts and tints and my brows, and she does an incredible job. I love how she enhances my natural brows while matching the color to my hair, and her lash lifts make my eyes look more defined without any makeup. It’s such a confidence boost! Georgia is also so sweet and funny 😊 Studio Vera has definitely become one of my favorite spots to treat myself!

I booked with Rahela and she did not disappoint ✨ I woke up with a migraine today and the whole appointment was so relaxing—from her specialty head massages to the blow out, she nailed it! She also gave me a beautiful hair cut. 20/10 :)

She explains everything, makes you feel comfortable, and somehow turns your inspo photos into something that actually works for your face and lifestyle. It’s rare to find someone who’s both an artist and a great human, but that’s Kelsie. Studio Vera is my forever salon.

I had high hopes for this appointment but ultimately left feeling disappointed. I brought in reference photos for the color and placement I was hoping to achieve. The hair itself was styled beautifully, but the final color was not what I had asked for. When I asked for adjustments, I was told I should have specified that I didn’t want warm tones, which was frustrating given that I had provided clear visual references. They toned it again but now it looks just like my natural color with zero dimension or brightness. I do appreciate that they made an effort to fix it, and everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. However, given the time, cost, and travel involved, I am disappointed with the final result.
