StudiowerksDC

Absolutely incredible experience here. Great communication leading up to our time and the studio is excellent. Plenty of gear (lights, stands, backdrops), really well organized, and setup perfectly to get multiple looks in a small amount of time. They have a great showcase of previous setups on their website too that were very helpful for pre-production planning. We were a small crew capturing 4 different interviews so we needed a place we could get different sets together fast. This was the perfect place and one of the easier content days I’ve been a part of. Very well priced as well and in a great location just down the street from Capital Hill. Absolutely book this place. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Back here for the first time in a while and the experience keeps getting better. The onsite G&E offerings are great, the location is convenient and variety of looks one can find in the space provide a great creative advantage.

I had the opportunity to spend multiple days filming at Studiowerks over the past month, and it was an outstanding experience. The studio is comfortable and professional, with an excellent green screen setup, high tech equipment, and a knowledgeable, supportive team that made every session run smoothly. I would absolutely recommend Studiowerks to anyone looking for a production studio in the DC area.

Great location. This facility is well thought out and very well equipped.

Chris and the team at StudioWerks are incredible. This was our first studio shoot, and we had a lot to learn. Chris went above and beyond, taking the time to explain the process, answer our questions, and do extensive research to ensure everything was set up in the best possible way. The shoot was a huge success, thanks in large part to the professionalism, expertise, and care of Chris and his staff. We were so impressed that we immediately booked two more shoots with them. StudioWerks has earned our trust, and we will absolutely be using them for future productions. Highly recommend.

StudiowerksDC is essentially a smart room for film crews! Everything you need for one on one interviews and the like are all there in one place, and it's easy to set up multiple looks. All the details about the studio are either on the website or in the welcome page StudiowerksDC sends. Not having to stress about the location put the entire crew at ease and we had a great shoot!

I work on a lot of TV network interviews that require significant lighting and grip equipment, and whenever I’m in DC I use Chris’s studio. The lighting and grip gear is always in excellent condition, and the space is always ready to go. There’s enough equipment and flexibility in the setup to create different looks for different clients, which makes my interview shoots much easier. It’s definitely the best interview and filming space I’ve come across in DC. I highly recommend it.

Used StudioWerks on so many occasions. Such a great space to shoot in. A Dp’s dream. Love the choice of all the different backgrounds and knickknacks. And being able to come in with just my camera and tripod, is great. Having access to all the studio lighting fixtures and other toys… its always going to be my first choice when coming to DC. Also a great local coffee shop around the corner.

We’ve used Studio Werks DC a few times over the years, and every experience has been fantastic. The studio is extremely well equipped, basically everything you need for production except the cameras. The lighting equipment, backdrops, and props make it easy to walk in and create a clean, professional setup quickly. Chris always provides a great experience and pays close attention to the details that make a shoot run smoothly. He’s also incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the process. And I have to say, the food suggestions nearby are always on point too, thanks again for that! If you’re looking for one of the best film studios in DC, this is definitely the place to go.

My crew, clients, and I are always happy filming at StudioWerks. I've filmed countless interviews here with many different looks. And the owner is incredibly responsive and helps ensure a smooth experience all around.
