Both of my sons have attended before and also after school care for several years at sunny side. Staff have been very attentive and fostered a fun welcoming environment for them.
Oh how we loved Sunny Side! We left only because we moved. The teachers are wonderful and easy to communicate with (especially Debra in the infant room- an absolute gift to childcare), and the Brightwheel app is a great feature. Pricing was on-par to better than other childcare centers in the CW area. A great place, with people who care!
My kids really enjoyed going to Sunny Side this summer. The activities were not only fun but educational. Would definitely recommend.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and always keep you updated on your child throughout the day.
A small center full of really great people. Our daughter attends part time, and even going just a few days a week is learning so much. The area is so lucky to have a safe and affordable center in our community.

We are so thankful for the wonderful daycare that has been such a big part of my son’s life. From the school itself to every teacher he has had, we truly couldn’t have asked for a better place for him to grow, learn, and become the little boy he is today. My son has learned so much during his time at Sunny Side and his teachers have played such an important role in preparing him for kindergarten and everything that comes next. They have taught him, encouraged him, loved him, and helped him grow in so many ways. I will forever be grateful for everything they have done for him. Over the years, my son and I have become so close with the wonderful teachers he has had and he became good friends with all the other students which made saying goodbye at the end of this chapter incredibly hard. We are going to miss Sunny Side and all of the amazing teachers. But, we are already looking forward to my son going back for their summer program they have next year during his summer break. We will always be grateful for the memories, love, patience, and lessons the teachers have given him. This daycare will always hold such a special place in our hearts!

I can't say enough good things about Sunny Side Child Care in Lithopolis. My two kids have gone here for a few years now (daughter from age 4-5, who will leave to start kindergarten in the fall, and my son started at age 1 and is 2.5 yrs now and will continue here). It is such a wholesome, one-of-a-kind place. We also really loved our prior daycare where we used to live, but since moving here, we have discovered that Sunny Side truly is the heart of it all. It has won our hearts. When I came to pick up my kids even on their first day, their classmates all walked up to me and wanted to talk and engage. It is clear from the kids' social cues that they are in a place that feels like family and community - where they feel comfortable, nurtured, safe, and listened to. My children have really grown socially and emotionally here, and they continue to learn to be good humans. All of the teachers and staff know your child inside and out, and take care of them like their own. I am always so touched, because the teachers have even come to the kids' birthday parties thrown by families over the weekends. I have always felt like the staff is attentive and committed to us. I never worry about my kids when they are under their care. They are so thoughtful with the play time, learning activities and crafts that they set up. They use their space incredibly well. Summer expedition is a blast, and my daughter has gone on great trips to the pool, the fire station, library, and a petting zoo. I could go on and on, but I just recommend checking it out for yourself! : )

Our family is new to Sunnyside and signed our school ager up for the summer program. This program has been so very enjoyable for our kiddo! Through Sunnyside, her summer has been spent at the pool, roller rink, local petting farms, metro parks, Wagnells library and more! Not only has she went on field trips but the teachers also read with the kids and do arts and crafts. I’ve also noticed our kiddos reading confidence has grown since starting. She shared with me that Ms. Judy reads with her everyday she’s there. I love this! The class is small, the teachers are patient and experienced, the directors communicate well. There was even a cookout outside of school hours so families can meet each other and get to know each other. All around this place has been great! Thanks Sunnyside :)… also I get nothing in return for this review and I was not prompted to write this just wanted to out of genuine support of the place.
