Customers frequently cite punctual arrivals, clear communication, and reasonable pricing for services including spring repairs, opener installations, and full door replacements. Technicians are described as knowledgeable and professional, often resolving issues quickly or providing free follow-up fixes for recurring problems. However, low-star reviews indicate that some customers experienced unfulfilled warranty promises or unresolved damage claims after the company was forwarded to a different service provider.

No longer in service. Called Sunwest but got forwarded to GDI. Unfortunately, GDI will not honor the warranty from Sunwest, of course.
Thank you so much for you kind words Scott!! We strive to be open and honest with our customers. We are grateful for your support. I will make sure to pass your message to Craig!! -Ryann
Lucas came out to make an assessment on my garage door that seemed to have a mind of its own when trying to close. It would at times close as it should and sometimes it would go right back up even if I would try to close again. He gave me a few options and it was clear that it would be best to have the opener replaced. The pricing was really reasonable as it was pointed out by other references and reviews. He was able to replace the garage opener in about an hour it is working beautifully. The sound of the garage door and opening and closing is so smooth whereas before it was a lot of clunky noise. I would recommend Luncas and Sunwest Garage Door to anyone of my neighbors and friends. Thank you so much!
They broke my garage door window, said they would replace it. Still haven’t heard back. I put in 3 new openers. Would not recommend this company. They acted nice and apologetic promised to make it right, still haven’t been back.
I highly recommend SGR. I was able to make and get my garage door opener installed the same day!! I just needed to get my garage door opener installed but after GD inspection I needed new springs and wires. Craig is professional and gets the job done fast!! Great prices!! ( I purchased GDR )
I highly recommend Sunwest Garage Door. It’s all about customer service and this company excels! It started with the phone call answered by Ryan who helped me schedule an appointment. And then the next day reschedule again as I had a problem with my calendar that I didn’t realize. I was notified when Joel would be arriving and he was on time. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He answered my questions and explained what would take place. I am very happy and appreciative of Sunwest and their service!

Excellent and prompt professional service. Phil did an excellent job repairing the broken springs and adjusting the hardware. Thank you.
Had an issue with the garage door not closing all the way. Called yesterday to schedule a service. Today Giselle called to inform me that Phil would be arriving in 30 minutes. He was courteous and professional. He explained everything thoroughly and diagnosed and rectified the problem in a prompt and professional matter. I would recommend this company and Phil specifically. Five stars!
