I’ve returned to the piano after several years away and I’m so grateful I found Surprise Academy of Music! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Hayden is an engaging and very knowledgeable teacher. Although family oriented, they give just as much attention and encouragement to single adults.

My granddaughter has thrived here. She has gone from being shy and only knowing basics to writing her own songs and singing. She has performed in their recitals twice now. Excellent teachers and wonderful staff.

Would not recommend coming here. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. Communication and professionalism were lacking throughout the process. Katie was very quick and persistent when it came to payment, yet not a single email regarding concerns, questions, or scheduling was returned. As a customer, basic communication and respect go a long way. Being ignored while still being pressured about payment leaves a very negative impression and raises serious concerns about how clients are treated once issues arise. Businesses grow through trust, professionalism, and responsiveness, and experiences like this are exactly what drive customers away.

Our girls just love piano lessons here. Updating my review for 2026. They have now been attending for over a year. They are still enjoying! Miss. Janna is such a blessing for our oldest. Mr. Armando is fantastic with our younger one. A small fee to participate in recitals to cover auditorium rental costs. They don't charge for family or friends to come and watch. How awesome is that? Every student is treated so well. They started offering art classes for homeschooling families on Wednesdays. Of course we signed up! So much fun. They really enjoy their art teacher as well. We enjoy it here so much it has impacted where we move as we don't want be too far to have to move on.
