Good pie but I would not recommend ordering direct. I ordered a pie delivery directly through their website and the experience wasn't good - there was a $25 fee that not visible in the mobile order form until after I pressed pay (ouch). It would have been far cheaper to use UberEats...
I also ordered some party decorations and received the wrong items. I had to call the store and was told a refund needed to be requested through DoorDash (even though I ordered on their website, not with DoorDash).
We got it sorted but the overall experience was expensive and disappointing.

My favorite bakery in downtown ATX! Cakes are always so moist and delicious. The ones I’ve tried haven’t been too sweet. If you love chocolate deserts, try their chocolate cake. It will not disappoint you.
The chocolate chip cookies are very nice and chewy, and if you heat them a bit in a toaster oven, they are slightly firmer on the edges and soft in the center. Ugh so good.
Oh plus the staff is so friendly and clearly care—they even give customers care instructions for their cakes!

Just moved to Texas a few days ago and found this place mentioned online. Made a stop in for my birthday and couldn't have been more satisfied! The cake slices are massive and the buttercream is delicious! I tried the chocolate cake and it was hands down the best bakery cake I have purchased! My family enjoyed the flight of cupcakes we bought but when I return my must repurchase item was the peanut butter sandwich cookie (I forgot the actual name) it was two PB cookies with a PB buttercream in-between.
We drove over an hour to get to this bakery and we have decided to make the drive again next week on my day off! 💜 highly recommend.

I’m such a huge cake fan, so I really wanted to love this place—especially because of its ratings. Unfortunately, I found that my cake slices were a bit dry, and I tried them right out of the store. By the time I was able to really sit and enjoy them at home, the texture was somewhat crumbly. Also, there was an odd taste of banana in my red velvet cake, so I’m not sure if the same knife is being used to slice different cakes or what. I just couldn’t get past the fact that I tasted more banana than the mild chocolate that I expected. I don’t mind the price, but the cakes lacked moisture and overall depth in taste.

SusieCakes is my favorite bakery of all-time, in Austin and otherwise. Well priced, always flavorful and moist, but not too heavy, no matter what you get. JP was absolutely amazing and helped me with my purchase after picking up my TGTG order. I would come back to this location just for him to be honest. Amazing customer service, and the shops are always so clean, tidy and aesthetic!

Carrot cake is the best traditional carrot cake I've had in my life! Balanced sweetness, fresh carrot, not too much icing. I only wish they sold half slices at 610 calories per slice because it's too good to only eat half.

Some of the best cupcakes you can have! Really warm people running this shop - they are incredibly accommodating and serve with an unmatched level of care and kindness for anyone coming in. Very few bakeries that are this good and treat visitors this well!
