We worked with Azy Susman while buying a home in Los Angeles and needed to coordinate homeowners, auto, and earthquake insurance on a fairly tight closing timeline. Azy was exceptionally responsive, patient, and thorough throughout the process. I asked a lot of detailed questions and requested several revisions along the way. Azy worked through all of them, clearly explained the different coverage options, and coordinated directly with our lender and escrow team to make sure everything was in place for closing. As a mortgage broker working here in West LA, I have seen Susman consistently deliver excellence since the 90s, so when my wife and I stumbled into a great home and we needed a FAST quote and binder I called April. When I told her that the home was 100 years old, I expected her to start talking about the insurance crisis and to prepare me for several declines and to deliver a policy with a super-high premium, but she simply went to work and gave us a reasonably-priced policy that allowed us to close quickly and on time. All in all, the most impressive thing about April is that she kept following up with a backlogged company and ultimately provided a policy that had better coverage and a substantially lower premium which she was able to reduce even further when we added an umbrella and our 4 cars...not an easy task since this included a recent accident from a new driver.
