My experience with Symmetry Counseling was honestly pretty frustrating. The billing process felt sketchy and unclear, and getting a response from the office was often difficult. Communication was not handled well, and I felt like I had to chase people down to get basic questions answered. I also had an uncomfortable experience with the CEO and found some of their interactions very strange and unprofessional. Overall, the experience left me with a pretty negative impression of the company.

It's been two years now that I've been meeting with my therapist Jake, and I appreciate him so much! He is incredibly thoughtful, supportive, inquisitive, caring, patient, and open-minded. I like how he offers insights from various therapeutic methodologies and intersectional perspectives. He has helped me navigate lots of changes in my life, offered coping strategies, and has been a steady source of support for me.

My therapist Amanda has been supporting me tremendously. I’ve been with her a little over a year and I’ve been progressing tremendously. I highly recommend Amanda.

My counseling experience is with James Grider. James does a great job of listening without judgement and then challenging me in what I feel are the right spots to help me move forward. I have really enjoyed my sessions with James and look forward to continue working with him.

Was treated condescendingly and disrespectfully by intake therapist Megan Mulroy because I was honest and admitted that I wasn't looking forward to undergoing therapy. I was told that I was wasting her time. I didn't realize one has to pass a litmus test to seek treatment. There are tons of other therapists in this city; do yourself a favor and avoid this one.

Jesse’s the real deal. No therapist voice, no judgment, just real conversation. Jesse helped me untangle things I didn’t even realize were connected. I always leave sessions feeling like something important clicked.

Jesse is just easy to talk to. I never feel rushed or like I have to say the “right” thing. Jesse helps me think about things in new ways without making it complicated. I always leave feeling calmer than when I walked in.

Highly recommend working with James Grider. James is skilled at challenging perspectives in a positive way, while also making sure to acknowledge successes. He has helped me recognize “wins” that I had never noticed. He also works to be accommodating with schedules.
