Would love to say this is the first issue I have had with them but it’s the last issue I will ever have with them. Spent $153 just for them to tell me that my children and myself would have to deal with no running water for possibly 4 days. So all this transpired on Friday night 10/23/2026 Called for Afterhours plumbing after the water pipe from my wellhead to the house cracked. Plumber called when on the way and stated he would only be able to give an Estimate for repairs and more than likely not have the equipment needed to fix the issue. Plumber came quick but was unable to fix it. Stated would need an excavator to dig up entire line. I stated that’s fine. Was then informed it would approximately be 10/28 before they could get someone with an excavator out here even after seeing I had two children in the house and at that time no running water in the house at all. ended up calling a competitor company the next morning and they showed up with all the equipment needed to do the job including an excavator and had the pipe replaced and water back in the house in about 90minutes along with being priced a lot lower than what T.E. Spall estimated for the same work. Homeowners beware: don’t waste your money on this company they only care about taking your money. They have no intentions of attempting to do the right thing.

TE Spall helped convert my old house to gas service after a few years of annual oil boiler maintenance jobs, removing and replacing my old oil boiler with a gas one and adding a water heater and removing the old oil tank in the basement. Salesman Dylan was a huge help with getting what we needed and making sure information was passed through and everything was what we needed. The many employees who helped with the various parts of the job included Nick (friendly and fantastic) as well as Liam, Levi, Ken, Frank, Mike, Jeff, and Sebastian. They returned to help get all the steam radiators adjusted until everything was working right and I appreciated all their help. Kudos to the office staff as well, I really appreciated how responsive they were for the most complicated home upgrade I've undertaken so far. Thank you to all involved! Editing Fall 2026: turns out they installed the flaps on the gas vents wrong and gas was leaking into my house. They came back and fixed it for free. Hmm. Editing 3/11/2025: I had another job done today by John S. and Dylan, great work and very helpful! Thank you again, TE Spall! Editing 12/9/2025: Thanks to Thomas G. for boiler maintenance and patiently answering my questions about maintaining my steam heat (throwing in an unrelated shoutout here to Dan Holohan's fabulous "So You've Got Steam Heat" book for teaching me what I needed to ask/learn!). I really disliked the AI agent phone system Spall has switched to for scheduling but the staff gave me an alternative when I messaged them, which I appreciate greatly. I would hate to stop using this company over frustrating technology that has nothing to do with the quality of HVAC/plumbing service received - thanks for your quick help.
