Saw a lot of good reviews. Decided to give it a try. Food is average. Nothing special about it. Overpriced. 7 course tasting menu @$155/pp with two courses of desserts. Portions are very small. 7 courses won't fill your stomach. With $100, you can have a 5 course tasting menu at Valette in downtown Healdsburg. Much better with very appropriate entrée size. Best of all, the chef would cook two different dishes for each of the two diners, a rarity in any restaurants.

The courses were delicious and well thought out. Our meal represented the transition between late summer and early fall produce. Beautiful plating and great wine recs by the sommelier. Servers were very friendly and conversational, we felt very welcome there as a queer couple. We want to go back every season 🤤

Came to SF/Napa Valley to celebrate my wife's 40th bday and wish we chose a different place to celebrate To start with the good: The server was very pleasant, explained the food and wine well and attentive. The wine pairing was great. Now the bad: Our reservation was at 730. We asked if we can move it up to 7 but they told us we could not and earliest we can come was at 715. When we got there, there was only 1 other table of 2 who were probably on their last course. Not sure I understand why they couldn't accommodate. We ordered the 5 course with the wine pairing. 3 of them we could have finished in 1 bite and 2 of them in 3 bites. None of the bites were impressive. The tuna lacked any flavor. If you didnt tell me it was tuna, i wouldnt have been able to tell you what i was eating. The scallop was hard and fishy but the sauce was good. The duck tasted bad and was covered in flavorless oil. The pastry on the dessert tasted days old and felt like they covered in Hershey dark chocolate sauce. The warm dishes were room temperature. The highlight was a "grilled cheese with tomato soup" like dish but even this was only slightly warm. While the server did his best, he kept shaking while pouring wines and had trouble setting the table and clearing it due to the table set up. I did let the restaurant know we were celebrating my wife's 40th before we got there and they gave us madeleines??? If I am paying over 1,000 (and one of us didnt even drink because she had to drive) I expect a bit more attention to these details. Tip is mandatory and you can understand why. I hate to write this but as a fair warning to other potential diners, if you plan on spending this amount of money, spend it elsewhere.

Very protentious. A $50 corkage fee and a strict 2-hour limit makes a night out feel more like a rushed transaction than a relaxing dinner

Chris made our night feel casual in the best way with an air of educated intimacy. A group of friends and I went to celebrate a birthday and we were all pleasantly surprised. The starting melon dish brings a light an airy start to a beautiful summer menu. To me the halibut stood out as the choice dish taking advantage of the flavors and textures perfectly. Wine pairings stood out here, each one expressing itself beautifully with the dish. And ideal way to spend an evening.

Save your money. This is not worth 500 plus for two people. We left underwhelmed and hungry. There was nothing about this experience that even comes close to the many chef tables we have done. The first course was three mini balls of melon and broth. Please. You’re much better off to go to a vineyard that does a food and wine experience we went to St Francis today and it was a much better value. This was over priced and so so so bland, boring and underwhelming. The dessert was great I had quail and halibut tasters…. The quail was great but it does not cost anywhere near this to make two bites of quail and two bites of halibut. I had to make an open sourdough ham cheese Sammie and I am not large… I weigh under 120 and was starving. We will never complain about paying 125 for a wagyu steak ever again lol at least we are full with leftovers. If the bites were the best things I had ever tasted fair enough but it was not even close to divine. Be warned.

The place is truly amazing and a touch of fine dining right here in Petaluma. I wish them continued success and I hope if they want they achieve a Michelin star.
