I had my mainecoon Simba groomed here at Tacoma cat grooming kitty city today and was pleasantly impressed by their professionalism. This was Simba’s first time ever with a professional groomer so I was a little worried as to how everything would go. Stefanie greeted me at my car and told me about the whole process and answered any questions/concerns I had. Simba had some pretty bad matting along his belly and hind legs and I was hoping to not have to have him shaved completely but was expecting it due to the condition of the matting and Stefanie did a wonderful job of listening to my concerns and she was able to get rid of all of the matting without having to shave everything off. She shaved his underside where most of the mats were and gave him a monkey butt Brazilian and I’m so thankful to her! Not only are all of the mats gone but he is as soft as a teddy bear and smells so good.<br>They really go above and beyond, please trust in them to take care of your fur baby you won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my baby. I will definitely be back!
They did so good with our little baby! She’s looks great and I’m so glad she was loved on and everything while she was there! We are definitely keeping Stephanie as Lily’s groomer. 🥰

I highly recommend Steffy and Kitty City Grooming! Steffy called before our appointment to make sure she knew exactly what I was expecting, and to make sure she knew what kind of temperament my cat has. She was so friendly and sweet! I have never taken my long haired cat to be groomed or shaved before, but she gave him a lions cut and he looks beautiful! So happy with the results, and I will definitely come back again :)
5 starts all around!!! I discovered Kitty City at my vets office by running into Steff herself & she captured my cat mama heart , I new from the jump she could handle grooming my MaineCoon Zazu! I have taken my sweet baby to Kitty City now 3 times and I’m always so happy with the end results! Bring your cats here to get groomed by Steff who actually CARES & LOVES your pet!
Had the most amazing experience with Kitty City Cat Grooming! My cat, Ruby, had never been to a groomer before and can get anxious with being in new places. When I picked Ruby up, she was calm, happy, and squeaky clean! I fully trust the team to care for her in the future. The communication and experience at Kitty City is a 10/10
We had to most amazing experience today! It was Momo’s first time at a groomer and we made no mistake in trusting Steffy and her husband to take care of our girl. I really appreciated the friendly updates and photos throughout the process as I was a nervous cat-mom waiting to see how it would go. Momo left so calm and happy, she actually slept in her crate on the way home. She not only looks and smells great, but she’s so happy! We will absolutely be back. Thank you both!!

I highly recommend this cat grooming company!<br><br>I booked an appointment with Kitty City Cat Grooming after my ragdoll cat had developed terrible matting on his tummy. I knew that this would be a stressful process for him as he comes from a cat-hoarding situation and is very anxious and skittish in unfamiliar environments. Because of this, I understood that I needed to find the best cat groomer in the area, and that is exactly who I found. Steffy was quick to call as soon as I booked the appointment to learn more about my cat and his needs. She was very accommodating and understanding, and after hearing about how bad his knots were, was able to move my appointment up earlier so that he could be seen as soon as possible. She saw how nervous I was when I dropped him off and reassured me that she would do everything in her power to keep him safe and comfortable, which she did. Halfway through the appointment, I received a call from Steffy to say that he was doing wonderfully and that he just melted in her husband's arms and was such a sweetheart. This warmed my heart and helped me feel less anxious about how he was doing. When I picked him up, he was as happy as could be and looked beautiful! Overall, Steffy was super transparent, skilled, and compassionate. If you want the best for your cat, go to her; your baby will be in good hands.
Stephanie is the absolute best! My handsome boy has gotten pretty intolerable with grooming at home as he’s gotten older but is so comfortable with her. He comes home every time with the perfect haircut. I couldn’t recommend her more.
They did awesome with my fur baby! Were willing to work with her where she is currently at and helped with a large matt for free! Will definitely become a regular.
I am so thankful for the experience I had here today! Even after just the consultation call it's clear that Steffy loves what she does and is great at it. I was very anxious to take my equally anxious long haired girl to the groomer for the first time and Steffy was so communicative, kind and thorough during entire process. My girl didn't even meow on the ride home and just loafed in her carrier. She seems like she feels so much better and is so relaxed, looks adorable and smells amazing. We'll definitely be back :)
