Reviewers describe the park as a peaceful, well-maintained space featuring native stone, varied plantings, an old mill, and accessible trails suitable for walking and picnicking. Amenities include restrooms, drinking fountains, and dog bowls, though visitors occasionally note limited parking availability. While most praise the scenery, some criticisms involve unfriendly service, high food costs during special events, and occasional restroom closures or maintenance issues in adjacent areas.

Great place to visit especially if you like to take a walk in a real natural setting. The use of native stone and woods, and a well curated presentation with places to sit and enjoy the experience, will bring you back. If you're a grandparent this is a great place. Bring a bag lunch and enjoy the picnic tables with the kids.

Beautiful modest size park with paved and unpacked trails, restrooms, and an old mill.

Very much enjoyed the chance to visit and wander around this vast city park. It was quite impressive even though it was labor day and I would imagine that when the leaves turn it would be fantastic to see. Highly recommend it and it is free!

So many plants varieties to stroll though on a morning or evening walk. Oh, and we saw an egret.
