Would not recommend. Had a great experience the first time but the second visit there were too many issues to overcome. When booking the appointment, I was not informed that the groomer had never done it before. Only when I was there for the service did I find this out. A grooming that typically takes 2 hours, took 4 and my dog wanted to run out of the building when I arrived. The groomer also did not call or lead with the information regarding new scars on my dog. She processed my payment first then brought out my dog and showed me where my dog had a new cut under her chin and a puncture wound through her lip. These were absolutely not there when I dropped her off. To pay the same rate for an experienced groomer who had a great experience with my dog the first time and then pay that same amount for a beginner who hurt my dog is also frustrating. I feel taken advantage of and a failure to protect my dog.

Lavender gave Gonzo the best haircut he’s ever had! She did such an amazing job, and we couldn’t be happier with how he looks. We just moved into the neighborhood and are so happy we found a great local groomer.

Tangled Tails has got to be one of the best groomers in town. It’s taking me over three years to find a groomer that understands listens and pays attention to detail and takes care of your Fur babies like their own every time I take Hank, my Labradoodle to get groomed Lavender does the most fantastic job on him ever she’s one of the nicest groomers I’ve met I would recommend tangled tails and Lavender to anyone that has a fur baby that needs spa day!!!

Amazing dog grooming spot! Employees are kind and efficient. Ryleigh has been grooming my senior dog for a little over a year and she is great! Would highly recommend.

Really disappointing experience- I was referred by a friend and booked an appointment online and filled out all the requirements only to be told during their follow-up call that they aren't accepting new dogs the moment I mentioned my dog is a Samoyed.
It’s a frustrating waste of time to let clients go through the entire booking process just to turn them away based on breed—especially when I see recent reviews from other new clients. If you have breed restrictions or a closed client list, that information needs to be stated upfront before people book.

We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication and that we did not meet your expectations during the booking process. After reviewing our records, we discovered that you initially contacted us by phone just a few days before we made the difficult decision to temporarily stop accepting additional large-breed dogs due to our current availability and capacity. When we later received your inquiry through our online booking platform, we unfortunately did not connect it with our previous phone conversation. We sincerely regret this oversight.
As a small business, we are always looking for ways to improve, and we truly appreciate your feedback. We will be taking steps to ensure better communication and consistency between our different platforms so that situations like this can be avoided in the future.
We also wish we had the opportunity to address your concerns directly. Had we been made aware of the issue, we would have been happy to review what happened and do our best to resolve the misunderstanding.
We would also like to clarify that we do not have breed restrictions. Rather, our current limitations are based on the physical demands and amount of time required to safely and comfortably groom certain large and thick-coated dogs. At this time, we have reached our capacity for these types of appointments. Our goal is always to ensure that we have enough time to properly care for each pet while also respecting the physical limitations and well-being of our groomers.
We are truly sorry that you had a negative experience with us, and we hope you are able to find a groomer who is a great fit for you and Yuki. We wish you both the very best.

This was our first time using a new groomer in about three years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Maggie did an incredible job with our Goldendoodle and took the extra time and care to work through the matting so she didn’t have to be shaved.
We truly appreciate the care and attention to detail. We’ve officially found our new grooming service and couldn’t recommend them more!

Cecilia did an amazing job with my puppy Rufus for his first grooming and nail appointment ever! He’s an anxious guy and she took such great care of him. We will definitely be back!
