Trincy asked me to leave a 5 star review. I gave an honest 1 star review sharing my experience, and she asked me to put it on hold and give her a chance to fix the situation by applying for an appeal. I did, of course, but the appeal was denied. She didn’t even call me or follow up after my case was denied and I was put into removal proceedings. I had to appear in immigration court in July, and I received very little guidance when I saw her a couple of months before. I was basically told, “Good luck.” I never received a call asking what happened or if I was okay after July 2026. I found another attorney who was more proactive and helpful. He helped me request more time from the judge, and that was granted. Right now, he is giving me a couple of options, including Cancellation of Removal. She never mentioned any of these options to me. She just told me, “It is what it is. Just go “ My new attorney was able to get me more time to figure out my options…. I understand that no immigration attorney can guarantee an outcome, but I do believe clear communication, follow up, and guidance are basic expectations. Unfortunately, she didn’t give me any of them. She even asked me for additional fees to come and support me at the court if I wanted her to come with me. My experience with Trincy was extremely disappointing. Communication and followup were major issues throughout my case. I felt like I had to manage my own case and make so many calls to USCIS myself. For example, getting my biometrics appointment took an extremely long time. I had to contact immigration myself to follow up so many times. She literally told me that her role was only to fill out and file documents. So, if you expect emotional support because this case gives you a lot of anxiety and stress, run. She will just fill out the documents, send them, and wait. And if it’s denied, you can literally pack your stuff and go back to your country with your kids if you have one because she will definitely not find any other options for you unless you pay her more, I guess.
