Tchotchkes Design Studio

We were so fortunate to have met Tasha through our home remodel contractor. She quickly became an integral part of our remodel, not only guiding the redesign of each room but also helping us troubleshoot the unexpected issues that inevitably arose. She was always available for questions and advice, and always happy to help. Tasha has a uniquely refreshing style that stands apart from the looks “the algorithm” tends to push. She opened our minds to new ideas while still fully respecting our tastes and priorities. We honestly could not have completed our extensive remodel without her. We are so grateful for how everything turned out. The house we bought is now truly our home, and every detail exceeded our expectations. Tasha has an exceptional eye for detail, finishes, and color, and she remained patient even when we were unsure of what we wanted. We feel truly lucky to have worked with her, and we can’t recommend her highly enough. She is a top-tier designer, and her experience and expertise made all the difference on our project.

We hired Tasha at Tscotchkes Design Studio for our home renovation in Takoma Park, and we honestly couldn’t be happier. From the very first consultation, she got us - our quirky taste, our love of character, and the spirit of this wonderfully eclectic neighborhood. That kind of intuitive understanding is rare, and it made the whole process a joy. What Tasha pulled off is something I wasn’t sure was possible: honoring the original charm of our home while genuinely modernizing it. Nothing feels like a pastiche or a compromise - it feels like the house finally became what it always wanted to be. The saturated colors she selected are bold and unexpected in the best way, and the mix of textures she layered throughout gives every room a richness and depth you just want to sink into. And beyond the aesthetics? It’s incredibly livable. As a young family, we needed spaces that could handle real life and Tasha designed with that in mind at every turn. It’s beautiful AND functional, which is the holy grail. Tasha is talented, thoughtful, and genuinely fun to work with. If you want a designer who will listen, take creative risks with you, and deliver something truly personal rather than generic, look no further than Tscotchke Studio. Five stars, without hesitation.

My wife and I were moving from out of state into a new construction house in Mesa, AZ. We were looking for professional, expert guidance for selecting furniture and organizing our new home. Tasha was the answer we were looking for. We needed everything from window treatments, light fixtures, area rugs and furniture for the bedroom, living room, dining room and upstairs loft. First we met Tasha at the house so she could get to know our likes and dislikes for the home and she took measurements and photos. Tasha then emailed us a comprehensive video presentation with her thoughts room by room and the items she was proposing for each space. She was very receptive to our feedback. For example, Tasha proposed a round table for the dining room while we preferred a rectangular table. Tasha came back with the perfect dining room table. Tasha also works with a resourceful, highly skilled handyman named Gio. Under Tasha's guidance, Gio and his crew built a soffit in the kitchen, installed light fixtures and painted the loft the color recommended by Tasha. The loft has a terrific feel to it, Tasha has a talented eye for color. Tasha was very easy to communicate with via email and phone. I like how Tasha incorporated many different materials into the furniture she selected to include wood, leather, metal and concrete. Tasha also designed a built in cabinet for the living room and coordinated its construction with a cabinet maker. My wife and I are extremely happy with every piece Tasha had placed into our home. Thanks to Tasha's help, we have a very comfortable home we will enjoy for many years. We won't hesitate to call upon Tasha again in the future.

Absolutely loved working with Tasha / Tchotchkes Design! We recently bought a new home in Minneapolis, MN and since the space was both much bigger, and a different style of home than what we were used to, I knew I needed guidance. We hired Tasha's Designer for a day service and got such a great return for the time and insight. What I loved about working with Tasha is that she took into account both functionality and our style, but also presented new and out-of-the-box ideas that I wouldnt normally think of, but ended up loving! We are still implementing many of her interior designs and suggestions, and LOVING how its coming together. I am sure we will be hiring her in the future for more upcoming projects as we continue to settle into our new home! As a small business owner, homeowner, and overwhelmed human when trying to plan and envision a space - Tchotchkes Design is a hands down recommnended hire! Thank you for helping to make our new house feel like home, Tasha!

Had a blast doing Tasha's Design 4 a Day experience. She gave me peace of mind with many of my design ideas, and added tons more that I never would have thought of myself. We accomplished more than I expected, and I hit the ground running with purchases before she even departed. Her guidance has saved me money with clever ideas to maximize with what my house has to offer, as she was completely supportive of the parameters I wanted to work within. I'd do this again in a heartbeat!

I've had the pleasure of working with Tasha of Tchotchkes Design Studio on two separate projects, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. What truly sets her apart is her ability to listen deeply and translate our vision into a space that feels uniquely us. Her designs never feel like a reflection of her personal style—they’re a reflection of our lifestyle and preferences, elevated with her expert touch. She’s incredibly collaborative, detail-oriented, and brings a calm, confident energy to every phase of the project. From concept to completion, she made the process seamless and enjoyable. Both spaces she designed for us are beautiful but also functional. If you're looking for someone who will honor your taste while guiding you with creativity and professionalism, Tasha at Tchotchkes Design Studio is the one.

Started working with Tasha in summer of 2024 and have had such a positive experience. I completely trust her design intuition! She has been decorating and redesigning various parts of our new-build, cookie-cutter home— making it more cozy and colorful, with lots of personality. She works with our schedule and budget with no issues. We chose to do our projects in different phases so I’m personally not overwhelmed, and Tasha has accommodated this so well. She has chosen so many things for our home that, taken on its own, I never would have chosen; but as part of her vision, it completely makes sense with the overall feel we were hoping for. I’m looking forward to doing more projects with her in the future!

Tasha makes interior design accessible, affordable, and fun. We have loved working with her for 2 years over multiple Design in a Day sessions, all of which have occurred over Zoom. She has brought our 1960s Texas Ranch into 2025 while still helping us retain its original charm. She has a really unique eye and a style that is simultaneously timeless and fresh, all while incorporating your cherished pieces and whatever constraints you might have. We trust her with decisions big and small, and would highly recommend whether you are local to Arizona or on the other side of the country.

We worked with Tchotchkes Design Studio and did the designer for a day session. It was all-around a fantastic experience! Tasha was so friendly and knowledgeable. She really listened to our wants and needs, then developed concepts for us, including design photos and links to specific products that we continue to go back and reference. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations and was well worth the price.

Absolutely thrilled with the work done by Tasha at Tchotchkes Design Studio! From the initial consultation where I sent her my vision boards, to the “designer for a day” where she brought samples/options to collaborate on. Tasha’s creativity and attention to detail transformed my uninhabitable cabin into a stunning retreat. She listened carefully to my ideas and brought them to life with a perfect blend of style and functionality. The result is a space that feels both elegant and cozy, capturing the essence of what I wanted. Tasha’s professionalism and dedication were exceptional, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable, which was a huge fear for me because this is not my strong suit. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend Tasha to anyone looking for top-notch interior design. Five stars!
