The staff and everyone was very nice but the service turned out to be terrible.
I went in for an oil change on Thursday only for the oil dipstick handle to not be placed correctly and for the oil plug to be busted causing an oil leak and spilling and staining all of my undercarriage.
I was also told my battery needed to be replaced for 400 dollars but the battery had just been changed a few months ago. I went elsewhere for a second opinion and battery was completely fine.
Great job as usual! Replaced brakes, then they rotated tires (fixing a pulling issue I thought was going to be expensive). Uber to and from home on the house :)
Came on for a quick fix, my skid plate fell off and I needed it reattached. Isaiah was very welcoming and helpful; they fixed it up for me for free and in approx 10 minutes.
Also, they had CapriSun in the fridge
I had my car towed here by AAA and first the AAA driver told me that tech One was very popular. I must say being new to Austin I was kind of nervous at first but right away I felt at ease the experience was awesome. Terry made me feel that I could put my trust and confidence in the service and it was phenomenal I'm very pleased with my automobile and the customer service I will definitely recommend and I will be back!

Your appointment time means nothing. I booked on line and it took 40 minutes for them to start and another 40 minutes to complete. Come here if you have all the time in the world to waste sitting around in their lobby.
I have generally had good experiences at TechOne, but recently came in for an oil change. Several days later I looked under the hood and found my oil filler cap resting on the apron at the front of my truck. I had not touched it since the oil change, so it had to have been left off or left loose. Luckily my oil level was fine, but I thought this was a big miss. I could have easily lost the oil cap, and if I had not opened my hood for another reason this would have gone unnoticed.
Also, my last couple of visits with both of my cars have led to a suggestion that my rear shocks need replacing. In my opinion, after some research, the “leakage” from my shocks on both cars was a normal amount of “weepage”, which is an acceptable condition.
I don’t want to assume that this type of upsell is a sales tactic, but the cost of replacing my shocks that was quoted was very high. I will most likely not be returning to TechOne.
Brian was great on the air suspension struts and blend door actuator. Those two jobs could not be much more different, but he knew what was needed on both and kept the information accurate without overcomplicating anything. He was responsive, practical, and clearly comfortable dealing with both mechanical and HVAC work. Everything came together cleanly, and Brian made a strong impression with how confidently he handled it.
