Took my car to Tedious and they were excellent in providing me the full details of what’s wrong with my car and give me a list of what my car needs done. They don’t pressure me to get anything I don’t feel comfortable getting for my car which I love! They also provide pictures for me to see the issue with my car and a full report! This makes me feel even more reassured that this place cares about their customer! I will be returning to get the rest of my car fixed! I can’t recommend this place enough for someone who works a full time! They have a drop box that allows your to drop the car earlier/ overnight or picking up later then the opening times!

Buddy & his team were not only kind and professional, but quick to figure out what was wrong with my car and address the issue. They went out of their way to give me a fair & reasonable price for the repair along with a detailed inspection of my vehicle. My car was overheating and this shop had been highly recommended to me via some farmers in orland, so I knew it was gonna be ok. They replaced a radiator and the breaks of my car and did it before the week was out. Tedious turned not so tedious. Excellent service and excellent communication.

I had a great experince with tedious auto repair. I ended up needing more work than i thought and was under time constraints but they were able to squeeze me in and get everything completed day of and have me back on the road home that same day! They sent me photo updates as they worked on my vehicle and were friendly and easy to work with. Prices were fair and honest. Will be going back for more work from then in the future! Def recomend this shop!

This has been one of the most frustrating and unacceptable repair experiences I’ve ever had. I paid $8,000 to Tedious Repair expecting professional, competent work on my vehicle. Instead, after the repair, I discovered that bolts had been left in the transfer case mount when they installed the new transmission mount.
How does something like this get missed on an $8,000 repair?
When you are paying that kind of money, you should NOT have to second-guess whether the work was actually completed correctly or whether your vehicle was properly inspected before being handed back to you. This isn’t a minor cosmetic issue—it involves critical mechanical components, and mistakes like this can have serious consequences.
I trusted this shop with my vehicle and my money, and that trust was completely misplaced. Paying $8,000 and then discovering careless workmanship is absolutely infuriating.
The amount of money charged does not match the quality of work I received. If you take your vehicle here, inspect everything afterward and get a second opinion, because apparently paying thousands of dollars doesn’t guarantee that the job was done properly.
I would never spend another dollar here, and based on this experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering using this shop.

Haley, we’re genuinely sorry that you’re frustrated and concerned about your vehicle. We understand that discovering something you believe may be related to a previous repair can be upsetting, and we absolutely would have been willing to inspect the vehicle and determine what happened.
However, there is some important context that we feel needs to be included.
The repair you’re referring to was performed more than a year ago, and this is the first time this particular concern has been brought to our attention. We were contacted on a Sunday evening, when our technicians were not at the shop, and were met with yelling, screaming, and demands that we call employees in immediately to inspect and repair the vehicle that night.
We truly do go the extra mile for our customers, but calling technicians in on a Sunday night to immediately diagnose and repair a vehicle is simply not a reasonable request. Our employees have families and lives outside of work, and we cannot demand that they come in after hours without even having had an opportunity to inspect the vehicle and determine what has actually happened.
At this point, it isn't even clear what occurred with the vehicle or whether the current concern is related to work we performed more than a year ago. We need to physically inspect the vehicle, review the previous repair, and have a qualified technician determine what is going on before anyone can fairly reach that conclusion.
We also want to clarify the amount referenced in the review. The amount associated with the repair being discussed was substantially less than the $8,000 figure stated. That larger amount included additional work performed on the vehicle and should not all be attributed to the transmission-mount repair now being questioned.
We are not dismissing your concern. Had we been given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle during normal business operations, we would have reviewed the concern, compared it with the previous repair, and determined the appropriate next step. That is the same process we would provide to any of our customers.
We stand behind our work and make every reasonable effort to take care of our customers when there is a legitimate issue. We simply ask that we be given the opportunity to actually inspect the vehicle and establish what happened before conclusions are made about work performed more than a year ago.
