Therapist Caryn Kadous knew I was injured and didn't say anything about it. Caryn didn't know how to handle the situation, and when I asked for help, ignored her patient being injured.
New Director-Caryn Kadous, need to really think about future patient care, and how they can better perform showing empathy in gaining their future patience trust.Jordan Mazick particularly doesn't like it and treats you as if you didn't belong there for three years as a patient. Jordan advised me my kind didn't belong here. It doesn't matter where you reside, all patience should be welcomed.
BCBS requested my medical records (Twice), from Caryn Kadous and TPT of Boerne, Texas and these letters were ignored over a thirty day period. This resulted in me obtaining these records myself as per HIPPA Law I or BCBS are allowed to obtain these records without issues.
Please note I became injured at Texas Physical Therapy under the care of Caryn Kadous. An MRI, the timeline simply align with these results. This has been confirmed through my Orthopedic doctor, and my primary doctor. I have advised "all" of my doctors that TPT in Boerne, Texas is not the place they need to send their patience.
I now have a frozen shoulder due to my injury working with Caryn Kadous with TPT in Boerne, Texas. A physical therapist who causes/creates injury to a patient, and doesn't apologize as well as the company they work for is not a company I would ever return to.
This injury can take anywhere from 1-3 years to heal. Mind you I did advise Caryn Kadous that I was having issues with my shoulder while I was working with Caryn and was ignored. This is "another" reason why I left TPT of Boerne, Texas, amongst other reasons.
I had a two perfectly healthy shoulders prior to entering TPT Boerne, Texas. I specially came here for a specified reason, to recover from two surgeries, and almost dying from COVID.I did not have a new body walking out, because of Caryn Kadous, my body became injured and I will need to start over, heal again at a different faciltiy that actually cares about me. Rather than resolve issues with past patients, you attempt to make yourselves look good by reaching out to your patients for positive posts. When do you stop caring for your patients (me).
You simply need to take ownership and responsibility of whom you have injured. To Ignore BCBS is not proper.
Caryn Kadous needs to be re-evaluated for caring for their patients and what to look for with injuries to their patients. "NOT" Elevated to a new position. Your giving praise to someone injuring a patient. Three stages of a frozen shoulder: Est: Stage1:Freezing 2-9 months| Stage2: Frozen 4-12 months| Stage3: Thawing 6-2yrs. I am currently in the Frozen stage with an estimate of 8 more months to go. A Frozen shoulder doesn't occur over night. If you deeply care about your patients and their skeletal muscle, than you would not overlook a frozen shoulder. Skeletal muscle is the #1 cause of age deterioration as we become older.
Jordan referred me to Dr.Medrano w/Promotion Therapy in Boerne, Texas, where I planned on going anyways. When I asked Promotion about the referral, there was no mention of this from TPT. I felt this was most important to have this posted as I don't want anyone else to have these issues at TPT. Also, BCBS suggested I create this review. Attached: My MRI Proving I have a frozen shoulder. Aligns with the timeline.
Since Feb 2025 I am still in recovery and still in physical therapy with Promotion Therapy after being injured from TPT. A month ago I was finally able to reach for my seatbelt(after over a year) due to my injury caused by TPT. My Concern? I was injured by "New" director Caryn Kadous, w/o "Any" concern for my well being. Why would I contact the place that injured my shoulder and still in recovery. My privacy was compromised as my PHI, DL, HM address, cell were given w/o consent. Both Jordan Mazick | Caryn Kadous allowed my PHI info to be given freely w/o consent. I'm still injured. 10_23_26

Dr. Maddie Johnson provided exceptional and personalized care that was precisely what I required for my recovery. She was an attentive listener who developed a comprehensive rehabilitation plan tailored to my specific needs. Dr. Johnson excelled at explaining the purpose behind each exercise and demonstrating the correct movements, which was instrumental to my understanding and progress.
When I encountered some pain, she promptly modified the therapy to ensure my recovery continued without setback. Dr. Johnson managed my personal expectations for recovery, providing realistic timelines and positive reinforcement by contextualizing my progress as being ahead of the standard recovery curve for shoulder surgery. Her professional guidance was key to a successful outcome

Dr. Maddie Johnson has been fantastic. She did an incredible job rehabbing my shoulder, and her attention to detail really stood out from day one. She’s patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile to make sure things are done right. I always felt heard, supported, and confident in the plan she laid out. The progress I’ve made is a direct result of her care and dedication. Highly recommend her to anyone needing PT.

This practice changed my life. I had constant vertigo and could not function. But after learning about vestibular therapy from Jordan then following his guidance I am happy to report I have none of the issues which I never expected

I had a shoulder injury when I started with Texas physical therapy specialists. My PT worked with me for approximately eight weeks. I can honestly say that I am back to 100%. I cannot say enough good things about the physical therapists and techs who work there. They truly care about their patients. I felt like they became family. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
