😍🛍️ As someone who absolutely loves antiquing, this place checks every box on my list! There’s such an incredible variety of treasures, from unique furniture in all styles and sizes to delicate porcelain and glass figurines, beautiful jewelry, vintage clothing, and accessories. 🪞💍 You’ll also find potted plants, belts, rugs, framed artwork, original prints, mirrors, and gorgeous refinished mid-century furniture. Honestly, there’s something for everyone! ✨ Jennifer, the owner, is so kind, welcoming, and helpful. Her passion for what she does really shines through. ❤️ This shop is a must-visit for anyone who loves discovering special vintage finds and one-of-a-kind pieces! 🏺🌿
This is my favorite store in Grayslake. For anyone looking for nice antiques of all sorts, a warm atmosphere, and some great prices, this is the place. I visit all the time to browse and purchase items. This place is a must visit for everybody in the area!
I absolutely love this store. Every time I walk in, I find an item I cannot live without. The owners eye is exceptional. This isn't the old, crusty, antique shops our parents dragged us to as kids. This is a highly curated shop, filled with treasures. Best part? Her prices are reasonable! I highly recommend 1908 to anyone looking for unique pieces. Store bought crap doesn't set your home apart, interesting pieces do.
The sheep dog painting was my latest find at 1908. I had one as a child and one day hope to rescue one someday. I painted the frame gold and she now resides in my dog themed mud room area.
Sold me unstable outdoor bench and didn't deliver promised ,kept me waiting two days in a row, property needs to be clearly separated from private property nextdoor if owner expects people not to wander , owner rude
Highly recommend calling ahead to make sure they are open to the public. Drove for over an hour to see this place and sadly, while waiting for them to re-open as they were temporarily closed was told by a lady (assuming the owner) that I was on private property while waiting by the store. Based on the hours and their website, the store looked like it was open to the public and I didn’t realize I was tresspassing…it is not a store, it is private property.
