Customers frequently cite the company’s design expertise, professional staff, and clear communication as key strengths during bathroom and kitchen remodels. Reviewers often note that project managers kept them informed about schedules and material selections, while the showroom offered a wide variety of fixtures. However, a subset of lower-rated reviews highlights recurring issues with project management, specifically citing delays, poor responsiveness, and difficulty navigating contract terms.

We used The Bath Shop back in 2017 for remodeling (major) our master bath. In 2021 we used them again for a major kitchen remodel that involved removing a wall to combine kitchen and dining room to make a huge kitchen space.
Obviously we would not have used these guys for the kitchen if we were not very happy with the bathroom project. Also in my younger years I used to remodel homes so I do have some level of knowledge.
It was also good to see some of the same people still working there in 2021 who were there in 2017. Some of the qualities that impressed us:
- responsive from initial bid all the way through completion (how many contractors even bother to return calls these days).
- complete and accurate quoting process that did not leave gaps that lead to unforeseen cost ups down the road. These guys have done enough projects to have it down to a science.
- amazing design staff (a shout out to Stephanie who designed both our bathroom in 2017 and kitchen in 2021).
- they personally accompany you to pick out tile, Countertops , and even fixtures.
- they showed up every day on time.
- they don’t start until all materials are in hand (a challenge in 2021).
- they completed exactly on the quoted schedule.
- dedicated project management staff will be assigned to every project.

Matthew, thank you for coming back to The Bath Shop for both your master bath remodel and later the major kitchen remodel—especially one as involved as removing a wall to open up the space. We’re glad you noticed the responsive communication, accurate quoting, on-time daily work, and how our design and project management team (including Stephanie) stays hands-on from selections to a finish that matches the schedule.
Loved working with this end to end totally competent and professional team starting from the design expertise of Maryn Cochran helping to lead us through the myriad of design options in cabinetry, materials, tile, both electrical and plumbing fixtures on down to the finest details of colors and trim work. From the in home visit, she perfectly captured the essence of the interior and matched it with great precision. We could not be happier with selections and recommendations and we could not done it without her. Also very impressed with the project management and the detailed build plan all posted online through a very user friendly app with an easy to follow dashboard that kept everything front and center with all documentation kept in a single location for easy access. On site project management of both team and project materials was handled by Chris Winterholler who was very accommodating and easy to work with and very much appreciated for keeping the project on track, protecting the job site and keeping everything clean. The skilled team of artisans was the highlight of the project from the master plumber Tommy who handled a full copper installation with ease and expertise. So thankful for his patience and dedication. The tile team lead by Gerson was exceptional. The floors are absolutely pristine. The shower floor and wall tile pattern was well thought out and beautifully implemented with the assistance of Oscar for the niche inlays and Daisy making it all come together and shine with her detailed grout work. Much appreciation to the tile team. Finally the installation of the cabinetry and trim work by Krystian and Gaston demonstrated a master level of craftsmanship. Again, the attention to detail shown by both was exquisite with Gaston applying the final touch of paint with meticulous skill. We could not be happier with the outcome thanks to all the hard work of the team. I would recommend them with the highest of confidence and look forward to working with them again in the near future.

It means a lot that the craftsmanship from Tommy, Gerson and the tile crew, and Krystian and Gaston stood out, and that you’re so happy with the final selections and finish.

The Bath Shop Showroom in Cary is by far one of the most welcoming and impressive showrooms I have visited. I have been to several other locations, but the Cary showroom truly stands out for its inviting atmosphere, beautiful selection, and overall customer experience. The staff made the process of selecting countertops for my home feel comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend the bath shop showroom in Cary to anyone looking for quality products, excellent service, and a pleasant shopping experience.

I am thrilled with the bathroom remodel this company recently completed in our home. The employees were polite and professional. The decorators were a pleasure to work with and were very patient with us when we asked to see options for tiles, bathroom fixtures, etc.. They had a wide inventory in the showroom to show us. Overall, I would recommend this company for anyone wanting a bathroom remodel. Before/After pictures attached.
Update 2026:
We have had a second bathroom completely remodeled by The Bath Shop and are extremely happy with the result. The project manager Kerry was very good at communicating with us and addressing any concerns we had. Krystian and Tom came many times and were very professional and terrific craftsmen. The design team made the process seamless- Stephanie and Cynthia- and helped guide every component. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a bathroom remodel.
