Vanessa helped me and my mother purchase a house in 2020 and last year 2024. I wanted to type a long review but ill keep it short and straight to the point. During the closing of my house Vanessa became very shady with her tactics to ensure the sell. Would recommend ideas to leave me with a morgage that was over 1k from the original closing. The closer it got to closing I would catch her in multiple lies and even scare tactics about me loosing my ernest trust fund to make sure I did everything in my power to make the sale close. She absolutely did not have my best interest and was worried of her commission cut only. She even advised me to pay off my mother's house loan to be approved on my loan since I co-signed on the purchase of her house. Don't trust Vanessa, Yasmin from chase bank, or any house inspectors she recommends. The inspectors she recommended was wrong about multiple issues with the house. She is also good friends with Yasmin from chase which helped her come up with this ridiculous plans for closing that were not in my best interest. Id look else where for a realtor never again hiring her or recommending her to anyone Response: Vanessa you actually did not help me find my house quite honestly you didnt help much in the aspect of finding the house I was finding and going to open house tours my self. As far as being honest its a complete lie, I clearly remember you and yuriana blowing up my phone to make the closing happen even after I said let's get the denial letter going. I find it funny you didnt touch up on the topic of your recommended inspector. I only hired them because of your recommendation and got a second opinion after and its night and day difference in the report. I can pull up messages and emails if you'd like proving the dishonesty from all parties. I have no reason to lie the deal is done and you got your money. I stand on my review of your shady practices. I clearly remember you mentioning multiple times my earnest trust fund will be loss if at any moment I backed out...it was a scare tactict that I caught you in a lie
I’m disappointed to read this review as it misrepresents what actually occurred. At no point did I lie or act “shady.” My role as a realtor is to guide clients through the process and make sure they understand important risks—such as the possibility of losing earnest money—so they can make informed decisions. The choice to work with Chase was yours, since you already banked there. I only mentioned that I knew of a loan officer from a professional association. Loan structure, approval conditions, and payment amounts are handled solely by the lender and underwriter. Realtors are not privy to the bank’s internal decisions, as those details are not disclosed to us, which is why I could not and did not influence how your loan was structured. The suggestion to pay off your mother’s loan came directly from the lender. I do understand your frustration, but it seems to be directed at me unfairly for issues that were ultimately the responsibility of the bank. I worked diligently for you and your mother, even finding her an off-market property within her budget when there were no options available in her price range. I stand by the fact that I acted honestly, ethically, and with your best interests at the forefront.
