We interviewed lots of pool companies before selecting Blue Lagoon. We felt very comfortable with their 20+ year knowledge in the pool business and loved their emphasis on the pool structure being done correctly. Blue Lagoon’s team did a great job of bringing my vision to life and giving us our dream pool. BL worked efficiently and professionally, they have a wonderful team. We have enjoyed many memories in our new pool and can’t wait until the next pool season!!!

Although this review reflects a five-star rating, our overall experience was closer to a 3.7–4-star experience. Just two days before construction began, we were informed that we needed to arrange a temporary internet line. Fortunately, our existing line was never damaged, so this ultimately wasn’t necessary. However, early in construction, a contractor hit our plumbing line, leaving us responsible for the out-of-pocket repair costs before work could continue. While we understand this responsibility was outlined in our contract, it was concerning to experience such an issue so early in the project. We also repeatedly had to clean up trash and water bottles left behind by contractors, despite specifically requesting that the crew clean up after themselves. In addition, contractors left large, sharp rocks in the street that posed a potential hazard to our tires. At the time, we were parking in the street, so this was a legitimate concern. We notified our project manager, who relayed the issue to the contractors, and we appreciate that it was addressed. However, these are the types of details that should receive greater attention and care. Another concern was contractors arriving at our home after 9 p.m. to perform work without prior notice or permission. While the team addressed the situation promptly once notified, we felt there was a lack of communication and consideration for our household and our neighbors. Work that could have been completed during normal daylight hours should not have required an unannounced late-night visit. We understand that construction projects come with challenges, and we recognize that some of the expenses associated with our project were outlined in our contract. However, the repeated issues with contractor carelessness, cleanup, and communication were disappointing. Given the company’s experience and the nature of its work, we expected greater attention to these details. Addressing these issues consistently would have made a significant difference in our overall experience. On a positive note, our project manager, Todd, was kind, informative, and responsive to our questions, and the Pool School team was great. Most importantly, we absolutely love our pool! It is beautiful, looks amazing, and is exactly what we envisioned and asked for. We truly enjoy it and are very happy with the finished product. Ultimately, we are pleased with the pool itself, but the issues we experienced throughout construction kept the overall customer experience from being a true five-star experience.

Overall great experience building with Blue Lagoon. This is our 3rd pool to build, and by far the fastest and easiest project to complete. I would happily recommend to anyone.

Highly recommend blue lagoon. They are very professional and it has been a pleasure working with them. Their entire team is very quick to respond with any questions or concerns.

Really terrible. They are extremely expensive and never got my pool clean. They always had some excuse. I hired another company and it was sparkling clean within 2 weeks for much less money. Do not use them!

Recently hired The Blue Lagoons Pools to do a full remodel of our existing pool. Communication was very good from start to finish and the group chat they established from the start was very helpful. Austin, our sales associate, was very knowledgeable and easy to work with in selecting finishes and final pricing (make sure to work everything into the initial bid as add ons were very expensive! Todd, our PM was great to work with and did exactly what he said he would do. He was great about holding the sub contractors to account amd was very easy to talk with. Cameron, our pool tech, was super nice and quite knowledgeable about starting the pool back up. I would recommend The Blue Lagoons Pool to anyone looking for an overall very positive experience!

Would highly recommend Blue Lagoon! We interviewed several builders and are glad we chose Blue Lagoon as they were the most detailed, reliable, and trustworthy. From start to finish they did an amazing job. The entire process was smooth and they were very communicative every step of the way. Our design consultant Victor Mueller was detailed in his designs and very prompt in his replies as compared to other designers we interviewed at other companies. He was also very helpful in making adjustments to the design to accommodate what we were wanting. The admin staff and especially our project manager, Alex, kept us updated throughout the build, answered all of our questions, and kept us up to date on the schedule. Despite there being a great amount of rain during the time of our build along with a crack in the concrete steps Alex noticed and had them redo, our pool was completed in a little less than 3 months from excavation date! We love our new pool and have not run into any issues! If you’re looking for a company that is honest, reliable, and cares about customer satisfaction I would recommend Blue Lagoon!

I want to leave this review to explain how bad the service department is at The Blue Lagoons. I am beyond frustrated with the service I received. The service technician left all of my gates open after completing the work, which caused my dogs to get out and run away. This was careless, irresponsible, and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I contacted the office to address the issue, I felt like my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously. Natalie was rude, unhelpful, and seemed more interested in making excuses than finding a solution. The customer service I received was disappointing and unprofessional. Leaving gates open when customers have pets is a serious mistake, and the lack of accountability afterward only made the situation worse. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend The Blue Lagoons and would encourage others to consider this before using their services. This gets the point across strongly while focusing on the specific issues you experienced.

The team at Blue Lagoon was so awesome to work with through my pool remodel project. The communication and willingness to answer all of my questions was incredible and the work product and quality is superior. I am very happy with my upgraded and beautiful “new” pool. Would like to thank The Blue Lagoons for an awesome experience with our pool resurfacing project. We had multiple companies come out and give us a quote and The Blue Lagoons was very competitive. From my initial consultation with Austin, the communication with the project managers and office staff, the teams that did the tile and plaster, and the service getting chemicals and startup going the full process has been professional and quick. I would highly recommend The Blue Lagoons to anyone in the area for any project you may have for your pool.
