This places feels like family. They are good to all who enter their doors and the food and drinks are top notch. It makes you feel even better knowing that they are supporting men who need stability and a way out of darkness and back into light and life. Amazing restaurant and ministry!

In summary this place is YUM.
We originally came with the desire to get breakfast, but quickly changed modes when we saw the other offerings. I have been searching for a pot pie in the city that reminded me of my grandma's cooking, and this one did exactly that. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The Cookery in Nashville was such a good find. The pancakes were easily the highlight, and the service felt warm and welcoming from the start. I also really appreciated the purpose behind the place, which made supporting them feel even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

First time at The Cookery. We had brunch including one of their DELICIOUS cinnamon rolls!! Food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was great. Glad we could give just a little support to this great ministry while visiting Nashville.

Last Wednesday, I had an experience at the cookery that I can’t ignore, and I urge you to think twice before dining there. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, and when the woman taking my order asked if I wanted my eggs scrambled, I happily agreed and requested sourdough bread. Little did I know, I would be waiting for 25 minutes only to discover that my sandwich was missing the sausage!
When I returned to the counter, the owner—a man from Australia—seemed to find the situation amusing. The food I received was nothing short of disappointing: microwaved frozen sausage slapped between two slices of white bread, topped with over-easy eggs that were cold in the middle. Out of sheer hunger, I forced myself to eat it, but that decision came with consequences. Since then, I’ve been stuck in bed, feeling unwell.
Please, take my experience as a warning. You deserve better than this. Choose wisely when it comes to where you dine!

Yes, we messed up. The chef forgot the sausage patty (we don't microwave) and apologizes for that. We know that our kitchen prep times need improvement and we are working to streamline things. Thanks for the reminder as to how important that is. The owner, Brett, is a very jolly man and he feels bad that his smile was misinterpreted as not caring. Another clarification that should be mentioned, our sourdough bread is a white bread, so it is easy to assume that it is regular bread. Overall, we don't wanted to over justify ourselves because we do admit that you had a terrible experience, and for that we apologize.

I'm a huge fan of this place. I try to eat here as often as I can to support their mission. A lot of people don't realize this but all the guys that work in the kitchen are formerly homeless. The food is amazing. We cater it for events at our office all the time as well. I would highly recommend
