We chose this venue because it is absolutely beautiful, and the building itself truly made for a gorgeous wedding day. We also appreciated having access to the venue before our wedding and being able to use the decoration borrowing room, which was a wonderful resource. Those things are the reason for our 3-star rating. Unfortunately, our experience with the owner significantly impacted what should have been a joyful and stress-free weekend. Throughout the wedding weekend, the owner was frequently rude to our guests and micromanaged nearly everyone involved, including us as the bride and groom, our bridal party, and our vendors. Rather than feeling supported, we often felt like we were being watched and corrected. For example, our DJ was instructed to turn the music down even though the volume was completely appropriate for a wedding reception and nowhere near excessive. On Friday evening, I was also approached in a way that felt unnecessarily confrontational. The following day, even the people who had volunteered their time to help us clean up were spoken to in a manner that came across as micromanaging. We understand that venues have rules and expectations, and we respect that. However, there is a professional and courteous way to communicate those expectations without making the couple, their families, guests, vendors, and volunteers feel uncomfortable. The venue itself is beautiful, and we are grateful for the memories made there. We simply wish the customer service had matched the quality of the property. Had the interactions throughout the weekend been more welcoming and less controlling, our experience would have been different. If we were to do it over again, we would have listened to what people had said and picked another venue.

We went there for a Celebration Of Life. But the venue is stunning! It's great for weddings, anniversary celebrations, work events, baby showers, anything you name it. It has this chic rustic vibe that will appeal to the anyone. Looking for a local venue for anything, not exactly near town. This the place you're looking for.

Such a cute place loved the sun set with pictures but will not tell anyone to get married there. We had her telling r guest that she was going to shut the breaker off bc of r music was to loud and rattling her was and kept harassing all of my quest not worth the money at all she ruined the wedding for sure I couldn’t have a good time at all bc of her. Such a pretty place but not worth all the pain from her.

It may be out of the way, but the view is worth the trip. The meal was delicious and there is plenty of parking.

A beautiful venue but even more beautiful setting. Be aware that you'll need to provide your guests thorough directions as it's set on a beautiful property off state highways. Nancy and her family have done an amazing job in taking care of this property and we're attentive venue hosts. The space was perfect for my client's wedding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to another client!

I was here here for a friends wedding on Saturday, July 20,2024. This place was spacious, the view from the back patio was breathtaking, looking across a beautiful Missouri valley. They have space for an outdoor wedding as well, you'd have to walk down a gravel parking lot which is hard for people in heels and it's not a smooth small grade gravel either, other than that it's great
