We loved our experience getting married at the Estate on the Halifax and working with Cara! From getting ready at Agatha’s house to our short drive to the Basilica of St. Paul for our Catholic wedding Mass back to the Estate for cocktail hour/reception - it was all perfect. The grounds are meticulously maintained and make for gorgeous photos. Guests loved the venue and commented about how beautiful it was! We stayed the night at Agatha’s house and it was so wonderful to be able to walk from the venue to where we were spending our first night married!
Cara provided clear and consistent communication about all finances, was quick (within the day) to reply back to any questions we had, and we enjoyed working with some of the vendors she recommended.
We are thankful to have such an all inclusive venue to have enjoyed and celebrated our wedding day at!
The only recommendation I could have would be the addition of a fridge/freezer space to the reception area to make storing a cake/ice cream easier - but we were still able to have everything we wanted with a little help from the fridge in Agatha’s house.
Very cozy, professional spot we used for a family wedding, it maintains multiple locations on the grounds for varied wedding backdrops,a small chapel for inclement weather events, a small cottage for cocktails,a small cabin for the wedding party with 3 bedrooms for multiple overnight guests, and a main BLDG for other events. We had no issues arise at all and we're very pleased.
We recently worked with The Estate on the Halifax for our daughter's wedding on May 19th. The Estate is well-maintained and stunning. There are many options for ceremonies, get-togethers, and photo opportunities. The team was easy to work with and took great care of the wedding couple and guests. I can not recommend the Estate enough! You can't go wrong working with them.
We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about The Estate on the Halifax. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day perfect — and they absolutely delivered.
The venue itself is breathtaking. The historic charm, river views, and elegant grounds created the most magical and romantic backdrop for our January wedding. Every space flowed beautifully from the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, and our guests could not stop commenting on how stunning everything was.
Our wedding day was more perfect than we ever imagined, and The Estate on the Halifax played a huge role in making that happen. If you are looking for a venue that is not only beautiful but also run by an incredible team that truly cares, this is it. We will cherish these memories forever and are so grateful we chose The Estate on the Halifax for the most special day of our lives.

With my husband we wanted to thank Cara and all the team from The Estate for everything, we had a blast and everything was perfect in our wedding day, the food was amazing and we wanted to thank all the team for all the work and help. The fact that you have this package that allows to enjoy the venue, stay overnight in Agatha’s house and includes the food made everything so special and easy to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than the Estate on the Halifax! The entire venue is absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was. There are so many areas to explore and take beautiful photos in the gorgeous gardens! Cara was incredible to work with throughout the entire process as well!
We could not have been happier with our wedding at Estate on the Halifax on November 22nd. Everything was exactly what we wanted, from the beauty of the venue to the assistance from the staff. Everyone was easy to work with and made planning our special day much easier.
